You could be at a tasting with 20 people and are always a little group 2-3 people who blab blab blab. On one hand it’s great to engage in conversation about what your drink, but common. Turn your cellphone off and show some respect. With a group that size I can kind of understand…No I can’t shut up people.

QOTD: I think of my Alma Mater UCSD, and La Jolla. Pacific Beach is amazing as well. Good show, needed better lighting, looked like it was shot on your flip cam. Maybe try to incorporate the audience instead of shushing them. I still like the mix up in format!

What did you say? The sound is pretty bad. Your a million miles away in a snow/ice storm. So that means the picture sucked too.

Oh well that’s travel for ya. Good effort and I’m of course glad you put up another good show. In the face of adversity!

I love when you have to poor a wine into the bucket! That brings thunder to the point for sure.

My sister was in the Navy and lived in San Diego for a couple years. She lived so close to the border they could watch people sneaking across all the time.

We know you were trying to be serious, but the crowd noise ruined the show.
You should wear a cordless mike that blocks out a lot of the sound from the audience next time. You’d still be able to interface with the crowd. It was a struggle for me to stay till the end of the show, and I really wanted to learn about those wines…but got turned off.

The concept of the show works for me. I like the live crowd idea. However, Gary, you’re taking the idea to its fullest. The sound was terrible and the lighting was unacceptable for someone at the level you’re at.

Come on big boy, its time for shows like this to be better produced.

When the show sound and lighting bites, I lose all interest in the content.

Unwatchable, worst show ever, horrible sound, horrible picture, horrible audience, and you couldn’t keep their attention for 5 minutes.

If you were producing wine, would you be content with quantity over quality? Of course, not. And yet you put out horrible, unedited, substandard episodes of Wine Library TV like this? If this episode were a wine, you would pour the rest of the bottle into the bucket!

I’m sad that the Fiano didn’t go over so well. Stick to the reds when it comes to Mastroberardino, their Taurasi and Naturalis Historia are incredible. For terrific Fiano, try Feudi di San Gregorio.

QOTD: San Diego = the best beer in the world. The microbrew in San Diego is unmatched anywhere (even Portland). Stone, Alesmith, Lost Abbey, Green Flash, Ballast Point, Port Brewing. Seriously, the best beer in the world.
