Lines of the day – ‘I am a legend. What you have to appreciate is I’m one of the greats’ and ‘I hate the package’

Phenomenal episode(s) and I agree with Karl (below) that these shows normally work best when the guests are able to match GV’s personality and knowledge. And Gary, you are 100% spot on, the label on that 2nd wine is a shocker.

Great show, but I have to agree with Gary on the label… not something I would reach for on the shelf

Wow. One of my favorite shows Gary and I have seen quite a few. You two really had a good dynamic and there was never a dull moment. FILLED with content!

QOTD: Great idea, but stick to what you are good at Nick. 😉

QOTD: The label is great! Especially after hearing the back story.

  • this was the most fun episode ever!

qotd: I’ll go along with a previous comment that the scribble looks great but the head shape in there ruins it. do a quick redesign and just use the abstract element! ( that from a graphic designer!)

  • REALLY behind with WLTV so just watched a few on recent train journeys on my ipod (I live in the UK – I know you lot think it’s wierd to use the train). I LOVED this double episode. Great pace, informative and above all entertaining. Thank you
Q: the label’s OK but it wouldn’t have drawn my interest to the wine (with no prior knowledge).

Pertit Verdot = “Durif”??!! Maybe just a slip of the tongue.

QOTD: The label is fine up to the font/size/colour of the word “Merlot”

  • DrewM

Just catching up on some back episodes today (instead of watching f*%#(g “Lost”).

Wow…what a great 2-parter. Can't wait to try the wine…even the one with the cheesy label.
