Oh, and we love the bubbles and drink plenty. Prosecco and cava for Guitar Hero nights, and things like Influorescence just when we want to enjoy nice wine. I always like this time of the year because the wine shops host champagne tastings, lots to taste and some great prices. 🙂

  • Seems like a super cool dude. I’ve been drinking a ton of champagne as of late and this one is now on the list if I see it…

    Hand raised!

I’m definitely trying to get more into sparklers. Not Champagne per se–often above my comfortable price point. Once I build up my palate to appreciate a very fine champagne, maybe I’ll spring for one of those bad boys.

P.S. Cava rocks my socks off. Other than Freixenet, which is generally pretty poor (even value-wise), I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by a Cava.

I find sparkling wine to be very versatile with food and have it with meals from time to time.
