Wow! Three 90 pointers. Awesome. I really like Barbarescos and Barolos – both are excellent and age-worthy. Barbarescos seem a little harder to come by in my area.

I’ve enjoyed ’01 Prunotto Barbaresco recently; had the ’04 and think it’s still too young. That ’05 must have been super tannic.

Does anyone here really think that’s a fair way to grade a Barbaresco? I had a 99 Produttorri Montestefano last week and it took 6 hours in the decanter to show well.

Nebiollo needs air or bottle age to show it’s best.

Six nebbiolos in December and notta one was a pazzzz. That’s why I’m such a fan.

QOTD: This year is really a dartboard. all the “strong” teams fizzled in the last three weeks. Are the Cowboys 4 real? Cincy and Philly played their key people and laid the proverbial eggs. Yikes.

Best guess: Chargers over the Vikes, 32 to 24

Awesome wines, will have one tomorrow and report back.
I love the fact barbaresco’s vacuum your mouth.
One of my favorite wines, definitely my favorite grape nebbiolo, it rocks.

Awesome episode, I’m a huge nebbiolo fan. It’s so easy to taste so many different wines. This was a good reminder that I need to go get some Barbaresco very soon!
