Slightly better than pt1 but still a little too heavy on the marketing side. GV obviously didn’t rate the last wine but put it nicely by saying that the tannins were blocking the flavour. ie the wine was lacking in flavour!

    SOLD!
Wine auction item just sold to a very lucky Canadian for $530!
    Congratulations to bidder '2008echoes2008'

Enjoy the wine and thank you again – as the Vayniacs would say “all 530 bones are headed to Habitat for Humanity”.

    Happy July 4th Weekend everyone!

Good guest show. I liked the intellectual conversation about Pinot Noir styles and how they sell. QOTD – These wines would do really well at Bar Boulud across from Lincoln Center. They focus on Burgundy and Rhone wines and their brethren around the world and have a generally wine-savvy customer base. It's also a crowd that wouldn't be uncomfortable with the pricepoint.

  • Yehaaa!!! I am the lucky Canadian!!! Thanks to both of you for those very special bottles. They will have a very special place in my wine collection! But the best of all is that the cash will go to people that really needs it. Thanks Michelle for taking care of that beautiful cause. And thanks Gary for your generosity; bringing awsome persons like MIchelle on your show.

Take care everybody and Happy 4th of July to all of you great neighbors! Love you all!

    Cheers!

Great show. Go Aussie. Michelle I love how you were really giving it to Gary, especially about the gold class movies – America it's so 1990s…

If only all of the wine producers were hot and present when you taste. Your scores would go up an average of 3 points.

Bring a bottle to Apiary for No Corkage Monday and convince Brett to add you to the list.

Really like the fact that you’re responding to comments on the forum here, Michelle. And the “pick up the wine” option is a great idea! And well done for reacting to it. =)

Any chance of getting some of this wine to Norway?
