    qotd love the pink Gary c’mon. best q.p.r’s in the wine world are rose, not white red or yellow wines. I mean Chateau D’Aqueria, one if not the worlds best rose is $20, and its fantastic. It’s no wonder they drink more rose in France than white wine.
    And speaking of yellow wine Gary, when are we gonna get to see a vin jaune on the show?

    Not a big rose fan…recently had a Caldwell Syrah Rose and it was great since it did taste like a typical Rose which I usually dislike. QOTD-already answered.. http://www.winelx.com

  • I’m very new to the wine world but I’m hesitant to buy rose’s because I first want to learn about the big wines that I’m more likely to come across.

    I’m interested to hear your opinion about this: In one of Malcolm Gladwell’s books (I think it was Blink) he talks about how packaging can affect the taste of a product. Do you think that is also the case in the wine world? If I tasted a killer bottle of wine in a cheap-looking label/bottle, would my experience be different? Perhaps that also plays a role in your QOTD.
