    STEVO IS BACK! I’ve been away from WLTV a painful 6 weeks (bar exam, month in Asia, moved and didn’t have internet access) but I’m back and have a lot of catching up to do. I started watching somewhere around episode 80 and hope to see episode 800!

    While I was in Japan I went to a karaoke place and it is different than in the US - instead of a huge bar you have a private room - GV - your singing would be safe there.

    Bashing the Redskins for the second time in a week? Stop showing how much you still resent us for taking your players. It’s good though…Kendall just adds to the fun w/ Randy Thomas. Wish you had our O-line? I bet you do. Too bad the formers J-E-T-S aren’t as good as our other linemen.

    Good show. I wish I had been able to do the tasting. I like tasting those young, rough and tumble wines. Yeah - the singing - don’t give up your day job, but you are brave. Congrats on 300. I hope there are many times that in the future. Please keep bringing us new and different wines. Because of WLTV, I bought a bottle of Charbono because I wanted to be able to say that I had tried wine from one of the rarest grapes in the world. (It was good by the way.) I would like to keep trying at least one new wine every month if I can find them. No QOTD? I assume it will be back. Oh, BTW, now that the NFL season is almost here, we are going to have to draw a line. Time for me to root for the orange and black (Bengals) and dis the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. Sorry.

    Perhaps we should start a contest to determine what is the best name to call ourselves?? ..like…VaynerPEEPS…VaynerPOSSEE….WINE LIBRARIANS. This should drive the count up

    Can you put together some kind of voting mechanism??

    or…maybe I can call myself DEREK and comment about the Corte Riva Merlot?

    Ratings suck? Nah. In every case I like a Parker 98 better than a GV 78. Okay, yeah, maybe we could quibble and debate - your 89 is my 91. But if I’m looking for something to celebrate the big deal at work with, I’m going with a 90+ (or 95+), not the 2-buck Chuck that I had last weekend and was great with burgers on the patio.

    Congrats on 300! We ARE changing the wine world!

    Hey Gary,
    Just got a chance to watch the 300 episode (sorry I’ve been swamped lately) but I just wanted to give a shout out to you for tasting the 2000 Taittinger Rose. I shared a bottle of that with my father in law and his wife (it was their anniversary present) on my wedding day last year. A very special bottle to be sure; thanks GV and congratulations on all of the success.
