Ha ha Gary, you somehow seem to throw in a Jets reference in nearly every episode. You truly are a real Jets fan. QOTD: Prep cook. Im in early making sauces, dressings, preping seafood and checking in deliveries to help set up the night crew. You cant pass up getting off at 3pm and not having to work nights when you work in a kitchen!

He, I actually don’t like Zin that much, but it was a great episode nevertheless. Ravenswood sounds good though. QOTD: I am an IT Project manager at a Telco and spend much of my spare time with my Mac User Group.

Bigtime lurker. Old world all the way…however, love the Montelena…but won’t be throwing down the 40 bones for the Ravenswood, though. Play in a rock band in Seattle. Go Raiders! Two wins already!

    QOTD: Barista/Social Work

I’m in between right now. At a fantastic little family-owned place. I love it. Since being barista, my palate for wine has widened quite significantly. At the shop, i’ve done some cupping and tasting of coffee, and I find that the profiles can be the same.

I would like to be more involved with wine. I’ve been drinking it for some time now and have hosted some parties about wine. I’ve even made wine the last two seasons. But I would like to do more, any ideas?

p.s. like your show, very entertaining although some times it’s a little ghetto. I know cause I live in the LBC, Cali, ya know what I’m sayn.

Great show Gary. Love the Zins, probably don’t drink them often enough. Although we had a SinZin last night and I was underwhelmed. QOTD: Consult with pharma and biotech for the naming of their drugs (e.g., Lunesta).

I am a lowly government employee that just loves wine. Like art I might not understant it all, but I know what I like. I have tasted several of the wines from the various shows and agree with most…but I also like to sample the huge spectrum still waiting for me out there.

Does anyone else think of Zin’s as a sledgehammer. In the hands of an amatuer, they’re generally uncoordiated destruction. In the hands of someone who knows how to use them, they’re a concentrated force that blows you out of your seat.

    BTW: no longer a lerker
