“G.V. tastes three wines all scoring over 90 points and all under ten dollars.” The episode I watched had no wine scoring OVER 90 points and only two wines that cost less than ten bones. What ever happened to truth in advertising?!?

Sadly, I won’t be at Crushpad tomorrow so, instead, it’s kids parties and a little bit of football watching. That’s the name of the game this weekend. Don’t sample too much of that juice tomorrow! Leave some for the bottles!

I loved this episode. Seemed like you couldn’t wait to get back to the nighties though. LOL

I like the top 10 episode idea, but maybe top 10 for under $30 or something… and drink all of the tastes… we want to see you tipsy dude.

It would be interesting to taste the Earthworks Cab to see what Gary means when he says “Hi-C” and fake fruit. It would be cool to tast the Sauvignon Blanc to see if I like it.

QOTD: I’m broke, my son’s football season is over so I’ll probably just hang around the house. And watch the Raiders punk the Broncos!

Bummer that the under $10 wines didn’t turn out to be stars. It is so cool finding killer wine for around $10. At thanksgiving we had an $80 and $10 bottle tie for the #1 spot in our annual blind tasting.

QOTD: Going to my sister in-laws to install some light fixtures, nephews birthday party, soccer game, catch up on work, and WISHING I WAS AT CRUSHPAD.

Ahhh…the constant struggle to break the $10 price barrier for good wine. A lot of these wines tend to have a good nose but disappoint once you tip the glass.

QOTD: I’m going to my son’s basketball game tonight. My closest, like-a-brother, friend is flying in from California Saturday. I can only imagine what we’ll get into through Tuesday. My wife will probably need those little strings with a ring at the end, like on a window shade, to keep from rolling her eyes into the back of her head.

Have a good weekend everyone! What are you doing Gary?

    Oh…how’s the weightlifting/bulking up going?

    Good Show/Episode,
It’s always nice to know what you, Gary, think about wines that people love.
I wonder if there are people who like wines until you say you don’t like them, then they change their minds, silly people.

QOTD: This weekend, i have nothing planned, but i’m up for suggestions… anyone?

High energy episode Gary, good one. I almost want to go and spend the $9 to see what a “GV Fruitbomb” actually tastes like.

Hey G-man, how about doing some Champagnes before Xmas and and N-Years. Maybe you could run the range of “value” to “break the bank offerings.” I’ve been seeing some local press on the NV Mumm de Cramat and NV Henriot “Brut Soveraign.” Any insight would be appreciated.

QOTD: This weekend? Decorating the xmas tree and sipping wine somewhere along the way.
    Have a good one.

The burnt electronics smell is probably a blown capacitor, seems to always be the first thing to go… just FYI ;)
Gamertag: Kojdog – bring it on!

QOTD: Friends are taking me spelunking. Almost got killed last time so let’s hope this goes better.

love Australia, but seem skeptical of artificial flavors, i hate those drinks.

AOTD: This weekend, is a curveball.. I have a cousin’s wedding (always fun and amazing) AND my elementary school reunion! quite random, but thats what facebook is all about. an ad-hoc 12-year elementary school reunion.
