Great show, but now I want to try that grape pixy stick stuff just out of curiosity. Little brother turned 29, so I’m going to see him for dinner with the parents this weekend; thinking I’ll bring the bottle of Meadowlark in the cellar.

QOTD: Holiday parties start early, have one this Saturday already

I love hearing you tear apart wines you feel are not good, it maybe slightly more entertaining than the good ones.

Haven’t commented in awhile. Sorry! School’s been getting out of control. The episodes over the last couple weeks have been great; don’t change a thing! Just keeping rocking like you are.

QOTD: Working … and then working some more.

QOTD: Rainier Beer! Thats how we do in the Ol’ School Seattle(think Yeungling…philly). Otherwise seeking out some WA red blends and a movie. OWEN ROE to be sure. Also getting all my HAWKS gear pimped out for the SEATTLE/PHILLY battle this weekend, it should be a real treat since the Hawks and Eagles are BOTH Bordeaux N Rhone in my eyes.

To all those that read this post..happy tasting and get out there in reality and drag a friend!…………….

Whether they LIKE it or NOT!

We have a Lutheran Liberal Arts College that has a Christmas Concert, our local opera company is preforming Amahl and the Night Visitors and our local youth symphony is having their concert. Since I am much like Charlie the Tuna (good taste) I plan on attending all three.

Truthfully, most of these 10 dollar 90 pt. wines that I’ve tried makes me question the credibility of the taster writing the review. This weekend looks like San Francisco (Old World style, Tadich Grill for some Cioppino, O’Reilly’s for some of the best Irish coffee, then down North Beach for some Latte and fun.

QOTD: I’m moving, and it sucks. Let’s all say a little prayer and hope none of my bottles get broken. :-(

QOTD: We have a major snowstorm bearing down on us this weekend (10 inches plus in Minneapolis). Just staying in and kicking back in front of the fire with a little bit of Port. Tonight the wife and I just had a 2003 Turley Ueberroth Vineyard Zin. Probably the best bottle of wine I have ever had. The only problem with it is that at 16% alcohol it is impossible to finish the bottle and remember it at all. Which I guess is a good thing because then I get to savor it again tomorrow. It is borderline port in itself.

Pannaroz is the prime example of RP spazzing out over cheap spanish reds, I would take any of Jorge’s cheapies over that piece of @#$t any day.

QOTD: Shopping for the fam, maybe a tree??, and either Copain Hawks Butte or some 02′ L’Ecole. Yay its the weekened!!

Just glad you take three cases of the Panarroz home, I’d have to fly to Jersey and “kick your face in for drinking more than two cases of anything”. Just Kidding. Would be fun to see an episode on Corbiers or Vayqueras. Two more s.rhone appl. that bring enormous amounts of thunder for the money.
People need to check out the Priorat region in Spain also. Big time thunder.

Great episode. I love when you review wines that have a high point:price ratio. It is nice to see you can still get good deals out there.
