Would this be the type of wine to buy now $10-13.00 and drink in a few years?

Good one GV, Pinotage is a very hard varietal. I don’t love it but don’t hate it either, but I will try a lot of stuff twice or even three times before deciding on anything.

QOTD: South Africa- Cape Town; South Africa- Mandela; South Africa- Apartheid, South Africa- Tall Horse( syrah ), South Africa- trade routes.

    Nice show Gary!

Hey, maybe if everyone would look at the other posts (besides their own) they would realize that we all saw/heard the incorrect spelling, clone/blend lingo mishap, pronunciation mistake and incorrect year reference. Relax and roll with it, it’s no big deal. We’re all human and make mistakes.

Pinotage is here to stay that’s for sure. Did a quick research and the 2006 south African wines were not outstanding but an excellent vintage.

“Capetown to Cairo,” but I’ll look for some pinotage next time I’m in the wine shop. I’ve never had one before. Keep up the good work of expanding my pal. I do the wine purchasing in my family, and my wife loves her fruit bomb cabs and shiraz, but every now and again I slip in a Gigondas or a bordeaux or something I’ve picked up from your show.
