Great episode. I’m not sure if you meant the rose would be in the dessert or served with it. Since I’m not a creative or good dessert cook I’ll go with the pairing. I’d have it with a cheese and fruit plate. If the wine had some sweetness, like rose d’Anjou, I’d have it with some kind of fruit tart. Thanks!

Gary, when you mentioned the crushed fruit juice on the last wine did you mean “compote”? (I had it over in Ukraine so that must be a connection to your heritage)

QOTD: looking up the definition of compote I would say that would be the dessert to pair with rose. (The juice compote name must be a foreign language difference).
