Gary, PLEASE never do another Alentejo special. This wine region is one of the best kept secrets in the wine world and let’s keep it that way, lest prices triple. From there I suggest you try these two: “Monte do Pintor” and “Vinha do Moura”. (By the way, the “j” in Alentejo is pronounced as in “jonas”, not the Spanish way. Cheers)

No to the mike, you sound great without it. Use it when you are on the road as the sound is generally poor then

Portugese wines are like non existence in Malaysia but maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough. Gary a request, can you try Vida Nova? A pal of mine is a great fan of Cliff and I’m trying to get him to WLTV and maybe by tasting Vida Nova might just do the trick…

Interesting show about a region that I am completely unfamiliar with. I will have to try some Alentejo soon.

QOTD: I don’t think you need the mic when in the office but whenever you are on location, you definitely need to use the mic.

Fredo: Made with Trincadeira, Aragonês and Cabernet Sauvignon, with 20 yr old vines, this is the flagship wine of the company, matured in new American oak barrels for 12 months, followed by 12 months in bottle

    QTD-No Mic-hear you fine.

Great show. Before running across you on the internet I was really only into west coast wines and primarily CA. I am now branching out and have a few Gigondas sitting in the cellar for the weekend. I also am reading all of the comments in the wine spectator about the French Wines. Can you do some more shows on the other regions? the Loire, Medoc, etc…

    thanks again

Love the unheralded regions. I’ve been juicing on Minervois. Let’s have some on WLTV.

You don’t need a mike when you are in the office. You project very well without one most of the time.

GV – I am just starting to get into Portugese wines and therefore I appreciate this show. I can’t seem to find a wine merchant in the Boston area that has an in-depth selection of these regions. Any recommendations?

QOTD – I don’t think you need a mic. I hear you fine. Mott is sometimes not audible, but I hear him most of the time.

BTW – love the fun facts! I watch the show to learn, as well as have fun.
