You Made Some Good Points There. I Did a Search on the Topic and Found Most People Will Agree with Your Words. Thank You!

gary i have been a “lurker” for hundreds of episodes. i don’t always have time to check the daily shows and when i finally get a break, i log on, do a little search for whatever is interesting to me at the moment and you always have something so substantial and real. that has always been the case. but lately, after a little bit of a break, i am so stoked to see how many wonderful guests you are able to bring on. i learn so much and you are such a great host. i know that sounds a little debutantish (i’m almost 39!) but really i am floored by the guests you get and how sincere they are. this is exactly what the wine world, consumer and vinters/winemaking world needs. none of the bullcrap… rather all of the real points about why we drink wine and why they are making it, and an honest and regular shout out to the levels of delivery inbetween. thank you for introducing us to people we would otherwise have to travel thousands of miles at great expense to see. clearly they want to share their passion and you are a GREAT delivery man, advocate and champion. thank you for bringing these people to us and giving a real format we can be part of and proud of. you are changing the wine world. you are bringing us the people that have tried to reach us for years, decades and centuries. thank you!

Definitely the best “guest episode” ever. Thanks.

QOTD: Women are allowed to make wine?
I would not be able to tell any difference at all.

    Gary..
you never cease to amaze….and educate an earnest learning novice as myself. Daniel”s visit was superative. Started a bit slow and I had my doubts…but you guys put a 2-piecer together to remember for a long, long time. Abbott and Costello on wine kegs had nothing on you guys tonight…and again I closed my computer knowing more about wine,…(and grape making, and love, and women, and sensuousness enjoyment of food), and the whole tamale, than I did when I first logged in. Thanks for helping a guy who thought he had it all figured out,…start to figure it out.

Super two-part show. I got the feeling that Daniel would keep talking forever. He was GREAT! What an awesome dude.

QOTD: Great question indeed. I don’t know if I could tell the difference between a wine made by a man and one made by a woman. That is an interesting test that I will have to try some time.

Awesome two-part episode, probably the best non-Shasha interview episode you’ve done, Gar. I love that you love Biggie- I knew you had a little gangsta in you.

Daniel is such a pimp! I love how non-politically correct he is. Totally European, but you can tell he’s been all over and has such a broad world view. It’s obvious he has such a wealth of knowledge, talent and experience, and he pontificates on all of that without coming off as haughty or pretentious at all.

QOTD: I don’t even know if I’ve had a female-made wine, sure I have; I’ll have to seek a couple out and try ‘em!

    qotd: I couldnt.

I love this ep. very good.

I assume that this long break youv taken is because you are now a father, so that is awesome, congrats!

Holey cow! This guy is the coolest guy ever or what! If only half of his character shows in his wines, they will be the smoothest wines in the world! Just look at the cool, yet deep and and conceptual question he asked! Unbelievable! I think there is something about genuine coolness that invites people to pay attention, as it has worked for you Gary, but this guy has outdone you by far which I am pretty sure you agree. I have seen majority of your episodes since 2006, and I have been silent for the most part, but this episode was so entertaining and exciting that got me to write this! Melka, Raymond, Moldavi and others were good guests but this guy was obviously outstanding. Thanks for not interrupting him too much and introducing him to us!

    First congrats on the baby!

This guy rocks, there are enough one liners in the 2 parts to last a while.

Qotd: I never thought about it explicitly, but love a bunch of wines that are made by women. Spottswoode and Leroy are two of my favorites.

Love Daniel! I’m going to try the Pinot for sure. When replacing Gary as the host of WLTV, I think Sasha should do half the year and Daniel should do the other half! I have never given much thought to a man vs woman wine maker, but I’m going to pay attention if I can. Congrats, I hope everyone is healthy & happy. AMM

Lizzie & Gary Vee – Congrats on the birth of Misha! Your lives are forever changed – FOR THE BETTER!! Enjoy your baby girl – life goes by so quickly, before you know it they are graduating!

Fill us in on the search for her “Birthday Wine”. I have a case of mixed wines from the year of my daughter’s birth, we will open next year when she turns 21. I can’t wait! Blessings to you, Lizzie and your families on the birth of Misha.
I just watched the part 1 & 2 yesterday in my car on way to work. I must say I detested your guest, it was the first show/s that I EVER fast-forwarded through. He appeared so full of himself, cocky and recycled all those one-liners. I SO much enjoyed the interviews with Peter Mondavi of Krug, and (I forget his name) the gentleman from CRU in NYC. Now THOSE were shows that I learned from, enjoyed, and will watch over and over, but this guy – NO WAY. Couldn’t delete it fast enough.

    QOTD:
There are several female winemakers in Austria. So what is the difference? Let me give you an example: We were drinking wines. After my friends have left I put the bottles in the fridge. On the next day I tastet them a second time. The “ladys” wine almost hit me! I have not recognised the childish play and elegance of her wine the day before.

I am an enologist in Austria and last year I was in New Zealand and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Daniel Schuster. It was an awesome experience. His words and his wines lastet and lastet till now. That is quality. Never forget wine is made in the vineyard.

vieux con! He’s full of it. He’s the alcoholic + who the hell eats peach + armagnac + stillton. Old man needs to go to rehab.

One of the best shows I have seen and I have been an “every show” watcher for over almost three years.

QOTD – A woman would make a wine that is more subtle and balanced, rather than tear your face off like a male.

Gary… this man is quite a individual. You had me more into an episode than my random stock play sky rocketing 12%. However, I think your tasting of the first red got cut off. Would really love to know what you guys thought of it.

Gary, it’s so difficult to be computer (intelligence, really) challenged. Like an a-hole I have been checking WLTV for news of (now I know) Misha’s birth. Reading your comments I know that I don’t have to ask for a confirmation of the statement that I made to you month’s ago that the birth of your first child would be the single greatest moment of joy in your life. Now let’s finalize the arranged marriage of my grandson Johnny to your Misha :)

Wow, missed it WLTV, but after the comments saw it on twitter. congrats on your new child. What a special family she is being born into!!
