Lines of the day, This wine smells like a steak’ and Mott’s pretentious home run, ‘would you say it’s big but it doesn’t lose control’. I bet Mott can’t believe he said that.

Steee – rike. Great show helped by a couple of stonking wines

On occasion I find the most dilapidated tasting rooms have some of the best wine. I suppose it depends on where you go, but I have had people poor me wine in their garage or basement that was fantastic.

I think thats Hugh Laurie, but I can’t tell.

Satan of course! But God would pay the bridge toll, Satan has always been a cheap mother****er.

Wow, reading all this makes me sad. Jay, I don?t know you but I am glad you have nothing to do with monetary decisions regarding politics or baseball.

Guess I can’t blame you rooting for the home team… Oh wait, yes I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

You just got served a bit steaming pile of your own shit.

LMAO! First, it’s not good to spike your blood pressure. Second, baseball is
only a game! I love the Giants but I’m not going to let them ruin my day 🙂

There really does need to be a dislike button, perhaps there should be several buttons to capture the true emotion the people feel when commneting.

Yeah, your right. I am making a point to try and watch most of the
games this year; it’s going to be a long haul.

Sent directly from my brain to your computer/cellular device.

My familys belongings were at the docks when that quake hit! That was the year we moved to the States.

  • Back in the thunder saddle for sure! Great performance from the Foxen. My believe my parents just had the Yuen and enjoyed it. KMurph, you rock!

QOTD: I support NY teams. My childhood memories are of Don Mattingly and The Mookie Ball.

Gary, great show. Energy present and accounted for. The Shiek took it on the cheek, almost got dunked in the Jets helmet hot wine tub. Been away, but looking forward to reviewing pasts and anticipating upcomings. Pound of flesh away, love the steaky juice descriptors for the foxy Foxen…and all those raccoons out there.

I have not read that article yet, but as far as I have read screw caps do not have significant disadvantages verses traditional closure methods. If anyone else has any info I would love to hear it.

Alright no more lurking after a year of watching this show.

Would love another value show, some of us are in college with ladies to impress.

The California thunder is wetting my appetite for a first ever visit to Napa this coming Autumn. Looking forward to sampling West Coast's finest!

QOTD: Baseball? Whats that all about. Poor man's cricket if you ask me! How can you have a “world” series when its pretty much only the yanks that play the game!! Move over baseball, bring on the Football (that's soccer!) World Cup. We are going to need some more showcasing South African wines when that comes around for sure, and maybe a feature on some of the best wines from some of the best teams in that tournament – France, Germany, Italy, Spain etc………..and of course ENGLAND (our football is better than our wine), but USA will be a paaaasssssss (wine good, soccer bad)!

Hey bro, can you talk about the color of the wine a little more?
Love your show bro ! I share your passion for wine, and now that I'm working for Di-Masi Wines as a Sales Rep, I believe you help me a lot when I closing a deal.
So..You! with a little bit of me, we're changing the wine world !
    Thanks a lot Gary 🙂 !

Great show, got me pumped up from the downers last week. Love the Capri Sun reference. Juicebox hero!

    QOTD: BoSox & Colo Rockies

Brah, If the wine maker has the balls to sit in the thunderzone (impact area) they should expect a lightning strike. In considering the option of rating the wine in front of them or a few seconds after they are off the video, then it would be more noble of you to just blast them looking strait in their eyes. I would think that if you bring someone on for the purpose of say talking about crushpad, then have them rave about that experience with crushpad as yall taste other brands… either way I am greatful for you doing your thing, its a great inspiration… Semper Fi…

Mmm…winesteak. QOTD – Cubbies…greatest place to watch a game on the planet. Living in NYC now I do follow/support the Mets. Looking forward to another ManningBowl in Week 2.

  • Great show. We care cuz you care. That being said, Hope you pay KMurph well.

QOTD: BOSTON RED SOX every year!

  • TommyB

    Back on the thunder seat!

  • Phredd3

I'm a little behind, here, but that was a nice, old-school kinda show. Very funny to see you jerking KMurph around, just because you can. She's cool. You ought to have her on the show again. Again, just because you can.

QOTD: The Seattle Mariners. The smooth, silky voice of Dave Neihaus introduced my to baseball. He the only radio announcer I've ever heard that makes you feel like you are at the game. They sucked last year, but they've cleaned house and are taking a new approach. Hopefully, they are back on the rebound.

  • Nik_B

That pinot sounds excellent.. would love to track it down

    QOTD – never liked baseball

  • sixbob

QOTD – having grown up in northern NJ in the 70's & 80's, have to love the Yanks. However, I do have Ike Davis on my fantasy team, so hoping he's more Darryl Strawberry than Gregg Jefferies for the Metropolitans

  • amoril

    Foxen does make awesome wine…
