great to see you again! QOTD since I last saw you, can´t remember… but the most memorable recent wine I´ve had was a 2006 Black Pepper Shiraz from the Barossa.

Out of all the wines we have tasted I’m kinda surprised yours and mine were the same wine less a different vintage. That’s eerie. 😉

  • SS_Chris

LOL….good to hear from you Rajiv. You should pop back on the Forum sometime. There’s still some diehards left. Hope all is well!!

Will Mott film any episodes. I miss Mott

  • Glad to have you back on a special episode. WLTV was a large portion of my life for a few years.

QOTD: truth is the wine matter but the company/family matters more. The last wine that I enjoyed was whatever the last glass was I shared with my wife. It’s a continual moving target.

  • He’s working out with a PT and everything. I think he turned 40 🙂

  • Hmm, are there more action here then on the comments on #askgaryvee?

  • No, it’s such a good wine, most all vintages.

Can I get a hell yeah?! Awesome to see you back in the thunder saddle. Can’t wait for the next 999 episodes, so start hustling you slacker. Thanks for all you’ve done and continue to do. Now lets drink some damn wine. QOTD; 2015 Sutter Home red blend , maybe a 96-98 point wine or something.

  • DougFergusonNYC

Great to see you back Gary! Even one episode was more than I expected, but is there going to be some frequency to future videos? Once a week, once a month, etc? QOTD: 2005 Château Bahans Haut-Brion. Silky smooth and the first $100+ wine I ever went back to the store to purchase more bottles of. Can’t wait until I open the next bottle. Really can’t wait until #1002!

    GV,

I thought I was dreaming when this came across my email. Glad you were able to find yourself a wrist band. When you came to CA several years back(can’t remember what episode but you played basketball that day) I shuttled you a few bottles(Darioush was one)! You’ve come a long way sir!

Just had a bottle of Dancing Hares 2012. Amazing Juice. That and anything Pinot coming out of CA!

Great having you back in the saddle and hopefully you will surprise us with a few more episodes. I’m sure Ad Vivum will be blowing you a kiss.

Welcome back, you were missed. I had to chuckle at some of the old expressions and great memories of your past episodes. Now to begin to drink wine again.

Hi GV!! Welcome back!! We missed a lot your wine insights this 5 years. Being an original Vayniac, and thru all this years asking for you to come back, its very nice to see everything changed for the best. Hope the family is very well, Sasha, AJ, Lizzie and Misha (a little baby when you stopped WLTV)! I myself, have a lovely couple babies at home, 30 month old boy and 8 month old girl. Hope WLTV is back to stay!! QOTD: 2012 Quinta Maria Izabel tinto (Red blend), Douro. Great wine!

  • Found the name of the CDP: Domaine Du Vieux Lazaret Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Greetings from the other side of the pond. Great to hear that voice and to feel the passion – brought back many memories of great shows from the past…. but hey what happened to the Jets spitoon? Watched the Jets crush the Dolphins at Wembley in October … I became a Jets fan from hearing as much about them as wine on your shows! QOTD 2006 Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Silex – the last vintage of one of the worlds great unconventional wine makers…. stunning SB

Had a VERY young man in my winery the other day, and he was extremely excited to see your picture from when you were there. Of course, there was a lot less gray hair!!!!
