I love Thanksgiving too! I started to get a little misty eyed today in my classroom as my 3rd & 4th graders shared the things we are thankful for (or maybe I was thinking about that “95 Chianti I picked up @ WL Saturday and how good it will taste after about 3 or 4 hours of decanting time tomorrow with the fried turkey!). Family, food, and wine…….can’t beat it!!! Thanks man-

Your ending reminds me of a sarcastic phone trick I’d play on people from time to time..
Ask the person on the phone if they have a closet, or if they know where a closet is.. and when they say yes, you say “Hang this up for me” and hang up the phone.

Nice to see you do a rose’ Once you get pass the “white zins” and paraphrasing Seinfeld, “there’s nothing wrong with white zins.” there are some really nice roses out there. For some reason they’re the distant third class citizens in the wine world. For instance, there are some exceptional French and Italian rose’ and Bonny Doon makes some Rhone blend roses too. Keeping up with your theme, give them a try.

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks again for finally doing a “real” rose (white zins don’t count). I would like to see a few more roses done every once in a while. Along with Chenin Blanc and Reislings, roses are under emphasised — although that tends to make them better bargains when you find a really good one.
