I love semillon. I’ve had Hunter Valley versions (unoaked), sweet Hunter Valley semillon, and I really enjoy the Washington State L’ecole 41 semillon. The grape deserves better press.

Questions of the day. I have had several semillons in the past but didn’t care for them. I’ve enjoyed them more when they are blended.

Nice mixed bag. Semillon is a tough one for me – I’ve had some good ones, also have had some “not so good” ones. Can’t beat it for dessert wines, though.
