    GV,
Happy Birthday to your Mom! Nice episode. I am still so enamored with Australia, California and Italy that I don’t drink much Bordeaux.
QOTD: My buddies Lee and Peter: they appreciate good when, especially when I’m pouring!

Didn’t make top 10 today, had to call my mom.

QOTD: Me, myself and I. Although, it’s more entertaining with an audience. So I guess on second thought, everyone!

Oh yes, great episode. Would like to see at least one episode per month which presents ‘best kept secret’ bordeauxs.

    Bordeaux!!
I have to say, Bordeaux is one of my favorites, but, but
when you went to this region there were only about ten
percent you really liked, if I remember correctly?

Just came back yesterday from Ireland. Wine they don’t
seem to have, but Guinness, well…. I don’t like Guinness
here but just like wine, it’s fantastic where it is made,
but is not licensed in America. Only had one glass of wine
    and it was, maybe OK.

  • Woohoo! Looks like Parker upgraded my 2005 Haut Bergey Rouge I bought from you a few months back from a 91-93 to a 92-94! Also looks like you upgraded your price. 😉 However, at the top of winelibrary.com it still says it’s under $27, but when you click on it, it says $30. You guys were quick to update that review, nice! Any more to update? I suppose I could spend the $100/year to read it all on his website… but I can get some futures for that money instead!

    nice wines!

QOTD: my wife. she doesn’t know a ton about wine but i love that because you get a fresh opinion on wines. plus, her descriptions of aromas and flavors are amazing. toasted marshmallow, pomella, lemon zest, she describes them in such an interesting way.

Just started watching your podcast … found it from a suggestion by Diggnation …

Luv the show … had not been drinking wine much lately …. you got me back in to it!

I have not seen every show … maybe the last 20-25 so you may have already done this tasting – Walla Walla Washington area wines. From my experience they are fantastic … may be my favorite region I have tasted overall but cannot find many since I moved to Phoenix in 2001. Can you do a tasting of theses wines?

QOTD – My best friend from Seattle. He comes down to Phoenix for Spring Training every year and we have at least 1 wine tasting night.

nice ep gary v. love the OW wines.

qotd-my wife! We were out to dinner w/ another couple last Fri at a place that provided corkage, so we cracked a bottle of Garretson 2004 Bulladoir. That is some serious viscous juice! Thanks WLTV! Thanks for the tip. Now if only I could afford a case…

QOTD: The best man in my wedding. he was the one who got me started and now when we visit each others house, the visitor gets to pick the wine for the weekend. Gets expensive, but always a good time… Thank god I go to his house more than he comes to mine!!!

Another embraceable episode. 2001 Chateau Ferriere goes in my shopping list. Very well formulated analogy for leading us into appreciating and desiring the older concept of wine and its flavors. It’s nice when you get so poetic like that. By the way.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA VAYNERCHUK! QOTD: I don’t know.. maybe I’ll enjoy drinking a bottle or two with KAHUNA some day 🙂

  • QOTD: Why, my lady kate, of course! She’s got to be the best person in the world do drink with.

Happy Birthday Gary’s Mom! I like to drink with my spouse the best! She lets me dazzle her with my knowledge, usually some tid bit I picked up that day from WLTV, and then doesn’t make fun of me when she proves she has about twice the quality palate that I do.

  • Karen Lorentz

Other than hubby, it’s my dear friend Lynn who has the BEST wine!
