Without a doubt the best two wine library eps ever, i rewatch them at least once a year. If you ever decide to redo a one-off I’d highly recommend doing something like this again, preferably in france since I speak the language lol, but anywhere else would be incredibly welcome!

    Gary, Interesting video. These people are very serious about thier wine as they should be. Palate fatique must move in quickly. I noticed no note taking, is that typical? or was the video shot at a seperate time of another go round? You looked like JFK at his desk while you were at Cos, hands on the desk and head down. My video froze while you were doing this and the guy with you had his head down as well. It got me thinking….it’s wine, Bordeaux, and here it is treated like States property, which I guess the French would say it is.

    Ouch! I was hoping for some action packed tasting, full of tasting notes & Quixotic quips from the VayNerChuckMan, but all I got was a nap!!! Two thumbs down. I couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes! Ouch!

    Gary, are you able to strike deals there, or does the 3 tier system keep you on your toes? I noticed that your brain was working during tasting the rose at Haut Lafite. If you purchase all the allocation then ….well you would have it all.

Since I do enjoy chatting up the winemakers, I find it comforting that you’re asking pretty much the same questions I do of winemakers and wineries. First vintage, what kind of oak barrels & how old, etc.

    Gary, I’m 7 minutes in…you are at Haut Brisson….and this is GREAT!!! I love it so far and cannot wait to see the rest of Part I and Part II tomorrow.

    One suggestion….I’m wondering if, when people appear, you can add text to let us know their names & titles. You can kind of figure it out, but it would be a nice addition.

    and….I get a break from the SS….thanks!!
