    QOTD – we’ll open a bottle and drink a glass while making dinner and finish it during and after dinner. We always pick a wine based on what we’ll eat. I guess that makes it 100% w/ food – let’s make that 98% / 2% πŸ™‚

    I stopped the episode because I had to tell you to never think of milk coming from your tit again….was not the right gesture for showing us the milky flavor of lactic acid…..OMG!

    You never cease to amaze me and that is what makes watching everyday so much fun!!!

    I am going to go back and finish the episode and see what you do next…:)

  • Gary, big hand to this Episode, becouse that’s definitly the way Chardonnay should/must go. The oak-attack on chardonnay really bothers me so many times. Let’s go back to the really beautyfull flavours of REAL Chardonnay and btw. hope France is listening too πŸ˜‰

    Adding a comment to help you reach 700, however, it has to be a buttery pop-corn wine in order to be chardonnay for me. These wines and Chablis can take a hike, bring me the oak. My favorite CA Chard is the regular oaken Mer Soleil, this other one I dumped the bottle, I rather drink water. So all you folks go ahead and buy this stuff, and let the price of the oak chards drop for me. I love you all for that. Also, please only buy Chablis from White Burgundy, let the Mentrachet and Meursault drop in price for me as well by not buying those oaken white burgundy.

    Great show! HavenΓ’??t had a chardonnay I liked in over a year. I just might have to try a Naked one.

    g, the INOX made you sad. what odds would you give that its heat mellows with age in the bottle? i prefer chablis-style over oak, and have over-avoided all chard as you pointed out. i think ill try the FV naked, they make nice zin.
