    Here’s my own question. And maybe this has been asked already. What do you do with the bottles of wine you open to test? Does some lucky customer downstairs get to take home a free bottle? Or maybe Mott takes them home? Just wondering….

    I didn’t have the 02 Paumanok CF, but I did like the 03 alot. The Wolffer is great, but a bit pricey. Need to seek out the Pellegrini. FYI’s, other decent LI CF are Borghese, Raphael and Corey Creek.

    I love Mott….we went to high school together and used to chug large cans of beer….remember those good times?
    QOTD – I have lots of Cab Franc’s from Niagara and they are really quite good but I totally agree, it is a grape the needs to be in the hands of a true wine maker so that it deosn’t have a 300 day maceration and come out like a Barossa Shiraz.

    I wish we had .99 bottles of wine, like they do in europe. Yea it’d be bad, but think of how much you could sample without denting your wallet.
