    QOTD: Nouveau Patriot fans make me sick. You see Gary, I have been rooting for the Pats since I was about as tall as your Thundercat dolls. And they sucked back then. In fact up until 2001 they were pretty damned terrible. Then, they win a superbowl and of course I am super stoked and then suddenly there are Pat fans coming out the wood work. NO! NO NO NO! Where were they during the hard years?

    So…look man, I know how it feels to be in your chair looking at the suck-ass jets and thinking…damn it! I’ve been there. And you can talk all the trash about the Pats, they deserve this. The Jets will come out of their slump and I am sure they will eventually start stomping on the Pats and I will be sitting here sulking…

    I have no effing idea where I am going with this….

    BTW, did anyone catch the record setting Us Open mens finals ? Possibly the best tennis player ever(huh) ? As the commentators kept saying, Roger Federer won his 4th straight Us Open. Okay, I know not many folks pay any attention to tennis, but I had to put my 2 cents in.

    QOTD: No shipping to Washington State !! What’s wrong with these stupid archaic laws that are still in existence. If the “Man” is so concerned with underage drinking then require shipping companies to get Adult signatures (Duh) like UPS does. How hard is that to figure out ? Okay enough rant.

Chad has proven to be a great guy and a great Jet (even if he usually spends more time on the medical cart). Have to give the kid QB a hand when he came in.

    I did watch the game, and I was waiting to have the camera catch you jumping and screaming, covered in green and white face paint. I didn’t see you.

    Good ep. I will be watching closely this week, as I feel that your ratings and enthusiasm for low end price point wines may not be there as compared to higher priced wines. A lot of us do not have the means to investigate many wines that you have been delighted with in higher price points (above $20-25)and therefore look forward to any silver lining that you can find in these lower price point gray clouds.

    They beat the Chargers first round last year 24-21 and it just didn’t seem right. Did their cheating affect the outcome of that game? Probably. Chargers play ’em this Sunday, should be good. Hope we ream ’em!

  • What makes me sick? Wines more than $30 a bottle. I’m a grad student, I only have so much money! I can’t blow even $30 on one bottle; that $30 goes to trying three different bottles of $10 wine.

    So, thanks for the value week videos, garyv. I hope you do a ton more of them in the future, too. Cause really, if you want people to keep trying as much wine as possible, showcasing cheap, but good stuff definitely makes it easier to experiment and try.
