QOTD: I am a nurse of 25 plus years and NO I am not gay….The only reason for that comment is that 25 years ago everyone (at least 9 out of 10) people would think that a male nurse was gay…..nope, nope, nope…..Happily married for 30 plus years….Also, my wife and I run a retirement home for Rescued Animals/Reptiles.

Was #12 when I started typing, but decided to watch the whole show before posting, so who knows where I’ll end up. Too slow for the Ep 91 notes, never mind, saves you International postage 🙂

Zins, had some good, some mediocre, so far none bad, Totally Serious.

I see they spelled your name wrong on the Ellen page (not the main blurb, the other bit where you select for the days shows). Good luck on that by the way.

QOTD – Customer support for a Genetic/Pathology Imaging company, part scientist, part computer tech, part diplomat. Oh, and I like wine and, for some reason, spending large parts of my life typing away to people I’ve never met thousands of miles away. Occasionally I watch you on WLTV.

Been lurking a while (though I haven’t watched for a couple weeks) so here you go. I work in insurance from home and your show’s a great way to put being productive. I’ve enjoyed the way you’ve revitalized my interest in wine and I haven’t had two bottles of the same thing in a row since I watched your show. My favorite find based on your suggestion is some good Australian wines that I’ve usually detested. In the same vein, do you know what’s up with what appears to be an Australian subsidiary of Ravenswood (they go so far as to have the same symbol but w/ kangaroos instead of Ravens)? Sorry about the Jets getting it handed to them again last weekend. Considering your prosecco episode, I should mention that on my last trip to Italy I found a winery with great prosecco: Alice from Vitorio Veneto. Give it a try if you have the time. I know they have at least one distributor in the Bay Area (CA, where I’m from and miss very much). Keep it up!

  • I’m a big Zin fan. Now I’m a bigger Bordeaux fan.

I am a child therapist/supervisor of some amazing case managers who do extremely hard work for little to no recognition.

QOTD: Right now, I am reviewing a contract for a Gamma Knife Perfexion – a really revolutionary tool (the hospital I work at was the first one to install one in the United States this past few months) that allows for outpatient surgery of brain metasteses (tumors) without a single incision. You can get brain surgery in the morning and be home for lunch. Pretty incredible stuff.

Just tried a 2003 Montes Alpha Syrah, surprised by the flavour after the nose was so sweet and soft, very much a sparkly raspberry/orange. Then the taste was much stronger-zingy- than expected. Not great with a lot of the necessary adjectives but that’s as best as I can get. But i still loved it.

QOTD: My husband and I are both Paramedics in Beaufort, SC. We just started to enjoy the “wine life” and are loving it! Thank you for the energy Gary! Telling everyone about you! We live in Georgia and hate that you can’t ship there! Damn government restrictions…
