I LOVE PORT! This was a great episode…one that I was waiting for. Now, how about an episode on everyday ports that are inexpensive? There are some good ones out there!

Port, I’ve guzzled numerous aged Tawnys & LBVs but never had a bona-fide Vintage version. Love the style, I’ve got a Dow’s 10yr open at the moment.

There was this game called “BaseWars” in which you outfitted a team of baseball playing robots. Instead of calling out of safe, you would battle the robots to make the decision. Best Game Ever!!

QOTD: Super Mario Bros

Tecmo Bowl is the greatest (8-bit) game ever created by mankind. Only two buttons, but a whole lot of jukin’ baby!

Great show, I love ports and enjoy doing flight tastings when I have a chance. I will definately seek out the Dow’s and the Roaring Forties blue cheese to try too.

QOTD: I would have to say that the greatest Nintendo game that I played was Castlevania! I loved it, and played it religiously. I really dug Castlevania II, but I beat it a heck of a lot quicker!

I’ve known and enjoyed the Roaring 40’s for a while. I loved having it with the ’94 Warre’s, which is terrific. Think blueberries in Kirsch. The ’94 Dow’s is great, just far too young right now. QOTD: What’s Nintendo? Just kidding. My boys’ favorite is (was) SuperMario Cart. Now it’s Guitar Hero.

I enjoy port a lot. Would like you to do a show on more affordable ports. QOTD: Don’t do Nintendo.

I Love Port. In the winter it is my favorite thing to drink on nights I work late. (After I get home.)

Wow – Two great things: Roaring 40s is amazing stuff (try it as a topper on a bone-in ribeye!), and, of course, port.

When I was born (1970), my father bought up several cases of port, with the idea that it would be served at various life milestones, one of which was my wedding in 1997. I invited only 40 guests, so every table was afforded a bottle. I recall the moving speech my father made when the glasses were poured, and the delight experienced by all when the wine was first sipped.

So, yes! Port lasts forever and is a great way to commemorate major events. It’s a great example of wine bringing people together, and enhancing the life experience.

QOTD – Techmo Bowl, baby! Bo Jackson bustin’ plays for touchdowns even when your homeboy would choose the right play on defense. Come on. Love that game.

Port and Blue cheese (got to try the Roaring Forties, heard great stuff about it) yum. Have the Down 94 but won’t be able to wait 40 years. I would be 90 by then. Gary, have you considered getting Vayniac Riedel wine glasses for tasting our wine project? Would be nice to have one.
