Gavi: Wasn’t he the “Teflon Don”?

QOTD: 2nd fave prez is difficult. Favorite is James Knox Polk (look it up) and after that, there’s a big drop-off. Don’t want to say Lincoln as that would be somewhat of a cop-out. (Can you tell I was a U.S. history major?) For kicks and giggles (“kicks” substituting for a stronger, stinkier plural noun), I’ll say John Tyler because he sired 15 kids. Don’t hate the playa – hate the game.

QOTD strange question, but it ain’t Bush that’s for sure. During my lifetime the second favorite probably Clinton. All time second favorite is probably Lincoln.

It’s amazing how many wine styles are out there and how very different they are! Is gavi something that is made for consuming on hot days to wash down lunch? It might explain the simplicity, or lack of depth. Just a thought 🙂

Californication – Fave show on TV. I cancelled my HBO because they are WEAK. Californication, Weeds, Brotherhood. Showtime is the new HBO. I will get HBO again only for the new season of Entourage when it comes back.

QOTD: President Thomas “Tug” Benson on Hot Shots! has got to be the second best president! The guy battled Saddam Husein to the death. “We’ll settle this the old navy way; The first guy to die, LOSES!”

I have many bottles of Gavi better than these that are my Chardonnay alternatives. My second favorite President, Probably Lincoln, first would be FDR.

The “GAVI/GAVI” is sold in Germany for almost 3 $ (keeping $ and â?¬ in mind!). Tried GAVI several time, could never recomend it. However: Gary, whats going on with you? Taping in a row? Trying wine whole day?

Wow….after a line up like that I am going to wait for the next Gavi show to even think about trying it…

QOTD: Not answering. I don’t mix wine and politics. In fact, I don’t like to mix anything with politics. If my life is water, politics are oil. We just try to stay out of each others’ way.

I have a gavi at home that I got as a gift. Now I’m curious to try it. Thanks Gary.

GV disses the GaVi? Worlds collide. Have to agree with others: tilt the spit bucket a bit to spare the Vayniacs who aren’t dental hygentists.

This episode on Gavi has just completely summed up my past few experiences in mediocre restaurants with wine…NO FlavoR.
I have had some spectacular Gavi in NYC, but these tourist cafe’s in Nice i’m just over.. Time to hit some back country.

QOTD – We’re a Monarchy, we don’t have Presidents!…. Quite liked Henry (5th), 2nd favourite, Richard Coeur du Lion. Now if we’re talking PMs then top would be Winston Churchill, 2nd favourite would be Benjamin Disraeli.
