Feel better! I was home sick today as well, feeling really under the weather.
QOTD: I had hot green tea and lots of chicken noodle soup.
Ballzhey
QOTD: I like to take about 5g of chewable vitamin c, aka ascorbic acid with a tall glass of h2o. that usually works.
get well soon gv
Ryan M.
Get well soon Gary! Drinking alcohol is probably not best when you’re sick – I just take vitamin C with lots of water.

Feel better Gary; tonight’s Californication was a darn good one and next week should make it a nice little debut season- hope that helps the cold just a little.
QOTD- Any kind of herbal iced tea. Green preferably with a little bit of mint for kick, or maybe some hot herbal tea, the kind that you can get your nose in and see some immediate sinus relief (chamomile, mint, or even a mild fruit flavored rooibis)

QOTD: Hot Buttered Rum
I hate getting a cold because I can’t smell my darn wine. The spices in hot buttered rum will get through most anything (plus, the butter adds some texture).
Buttered Rum Mix:
1 stick room temp. unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 pinch salt
Mix all together until everything is evenly distributed.
Refrigerate until solid.
Instructions:
Put approx. 1 tbsp. of mix into a mug
Pour in 2 shots of Rum
Top-off with hot water

Feel better soon, my friend!!!
I drink lots of water, sometimes fizzy water with lemon or lime, when I am sick.
Broth is good, especially Miso Soup. Mmm.
Emergen-C packets (I like the Cranberry ones best) are good. You dissolve them in a small glass of water.

Hope you feel better soon!

Get well soon, Gary. However, take as long as it takes. Rest well. I often wonder.. this super Vaynerchuk never gets sick. Must be his super upbeat energy. But there you go, human after all. QOTD: LOTS and LOTS OF FLUIDS! Often times tylennol. Hey, we care about you. I wish I had half this many friends.

Gary, sorry to hear you’re ill.
QOTD: Sometimes tea, gatorade, or water. Sometimes with a real runny , snotty cold I like to dry myself out with some beer or whiskey.

QOTD: I like to drink those hot-medicine-in-a-bag things. Thera-flu, I think they’re called. Knock me right out, and I feel 100% in the morning!

It’s all about tea of any kind. Oh. I’m not dead Gary, and I’ve not missed a single episode – I just backslid into not giving you my two cents. My appologies. I’m still here, and loving married life.

QOTD: One of those tea-like Primitivos, with a little bit of honeyed late harvest Gewurtztraminer and a couple of drops of lemon citrus Sauvignon Blanc.
QOTD: It depends on what kind of sickness I’m dealing with, but for a nasty cold I’m constantly pouring water, Airborne, and Emergen-C down my gullet. Sometimes a nice hot tottie really hits the spot too (or a hot buttered rum)! I hope you feel better soon!

QOTD: Hot homemade ginger tea. I chop up large chunks of fresh ginger root and boil ’em in water. Sometimes I add things to the teapot—a sprig of rosemary, some lemon wedges, some orange wedges, a bit of honey—but usually I drink it straight up. It always makes me feel better, especially if my throat is sore.
If my illness isn’t kicking my stomach into convulsions, I’ll drink orange juice. Sometimes I mix oj with 7-Up.
And I’m a chewable vitamin C fan. When I take vitamin C tablets, I get over the worst part of colds quickly. I don’t do a lot of cold medication because most of that stuff (1) doesn’t work on me anymore (now that so many have changed their ingredients) or (2) makes me feel even worse. For instance, Nyquil is 100% ineffective for me now and Theraflu makes me very nauseous. Stupid over-the-counter meds.
hot herbal lemon tea and add a dollop of honey. after that a nice big shot of southern comfort with a big heap of honey in it. it helps you sleep and when you wake up, everything is all better.

Get better Gary!! QOD – Depends on the type of sick. Head or throat = Canadian whiskey. Anything below that = juice and water. Or, if it’s that special kind of “sick” after a night with too much wine, I pretty much stick to Gatorade.
Now go get some rest.
