  • QOTD: I watch because Gary isn’t afraid to use every day terminology to describe tastes & aromas.

That said, GV better watch out. This Sir GV tells it like it is (but I’m still not sure why he was pricing using the British Pound while quaffing French wine).

I watch this program because Gary is fun, educational and certainly appears to know his STUFF!!

  • The Atomic Punk

Sir Gary V. is a sarcastic prick, and I enjoy that. That is why I watch the show.

Glad you brought Sir Gary back…hilarious. Love all the American wine drinker insults.

QOTD: I watch the show to learn more about different wine regions/grapes/types and to identify wines I would want to purchase. I also watch because it is very, very, very entertaining.

  • QOTD: Definitely not for Sir Gary… Jeez, I think I fell asleep for a minute there.

  • QOTD: I watch for the thunder.
    mmmmm, smell that Ozone!!!
Sir Gary can poop in his hand. (who knows, he may rate it higher than some wines!)
Bring Back Gary V!!!! (His beard could be for Novembeard!) Though, sadly, it’s all down to the Jets.

    Spot on old chap!
I enjoyed a Cheverny red the other day that did blend pinot noir, gamay and cab. franc. It was delicious and can prob. be found for under 20 USD….

I’m really scared! That “Sir” guy is just creepy…perfect for a Halloween episode. Even he couldn’t ruin my curiosity about Sancerre wines. I’ll have to save up and buy me one.

QOTD: I watch WineLibrary TV because it’s fun and all about wine. Thanks, Gary!

  • Yes I have, Sir GV. Had a Boulay Sancerre Rogue last May. It was delicious. Sancerre is a favorite of mine. Along with the other end of the Loire, Muscadet.

I guess I’m officially now an ex-lurker…but I just had to chime in on this one…dude you kill me. How the hell did you keep a straight face during that?

Why do I watch that uncivilized, American slob…simple. I’m a nutty, witty, short, wine sniffing, web designing, jets fan like yourself(never got into thundercats though but that’s cool)….AND anyone who can get Conan to eat dirt must be some kind of genius. Seriously, you keep it fun and real at the same time…keep it up!

Wine-wise I’m loving Spain right now…any suggestions? If you write back, I’ll do my best to remain Lurker X. – Peace Out

  • Will G

Huh? Wha? Oh, hi there…sorry, I just woke up from a 14 minute and 15 second nap. I heard something about Syrah and woke up for a second, but then fell back into slumber to the soothing piano sonata.

QOTD: I watch because a daily does of Vay-Ner-Chuk is an awesome break from a relatively uneventful day sitting at a computer at work. Nothing like a good laugh and some solid information on wines I may well have never tried otherwise. Keep up the good work Gary.

Alright! Penney’s bucket made it on The Elegance Hour! Thanks for the shout out Gary.

QOTD: Sir GV, I’ll put it in terms you can understand. Just like your reaction to the Gerard Boulay, watching Gary makes us excited—very excited—about wine, he brings the thunder, for 20 minutes, every day.

I dig the Sir Vay-NERD-chuck. I’m glad to see he was able to do another show. Ive never had a PN from the Loire, I’ll have to track one down.

QOTD~ it’s cheap entertainment, unless you count the overpriced and oversized Tee Shirts that I bought.

Keep up the great work GV!

QOTD: I recently started watching because I was interested in wines. This show was the first thing I came across. Now that I know that there are folks like Sir Gary out there I understand what wine drinking is all about. Steep me in your tradition Sir Gary.
