As much as I always proclaim ‘support your local winery’, they do tend to be overpriced.

I’m sure all of us in NC will be wondering which winery will represent the state! (Biltmore? Westbend?) If you hit Louisiana, please let it be Pontchartrain Vineyards, so they at least have a slim chance! Some good places in PA, too. . . . Drat the wait!

Thanks for doing some Texas wines Gary! I recently volunteered at a wine festival in Austin (great way for a ckc’r like me to sample a variety of wines) and really had fun seeing what was available in Texas. I found that wines from the Becker Vineyard were pretty tasty and also seemed to be the most popular at the festival. Check them out if you haven’t!
