Christmas 4-Pak: Wow… just got mine today. Very EXCITED for Xmas now. You picked something out of my comfort zone. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

  • Mmmm, steak. Seared over a high flame, flipped once, with a Cognac reduction. Often wild mushrooms, the best blue or gorgonzola (try Carr Valley from Wisconsin and medium rare. Perfection on a plate.

Easy, on a filet on a skewer and all you can east at a Brazilian BBQ.. If not, then medium rare with a peppercorn sauce works too!

I like my steak cooked medium rare paired with a gigantic glass of a, roughly, 15 year old Califoria Cabernet. Maybe a little pepper, maybe a little bleu cheese on top.

Medium Rare, no spices, bottle of dark beer, say Empyrean Vanilla Porter.

First off, as an iTunes viewer… There was a mess up with Monday & Tuesday’s episodes.

I like my steak with a maple syrup & teriyaki, soy, and ginger sauce glazing sauteed (with onions and garlic) slowly to amazing yummy perfection. More on the rare side of things, just to keep it juicy. Pairs up well with a nice bottle of Rioja.

    Mmm. *Good Times*

Crispy on the outside and very red in the middle….yummy! I completely see the pairing of the late harvest res with steak…sweet and savory baby! I have never been able to enjoy a high residual wine with high sugar desserts. P.S. Gary u need to chew your food longer listen to your mother.

Well done folks. Read Bourdain – classic restaurant trick – cook to medium then put full body weight on it to press the blood out and serve as well.

I like mine medium rare and brushed with ground black pepper and butter right at the end. With Mexican style BBQ styled corn on the cob. A big cab or zin.
