I friend’d you up, I watch daily, and I am even watching all of your previous shows and now I am posting, I will post every day if you want. That would be a small price to pay for what your teaching me. Why would you want to quit now? I really enjoy your show and I have learned so much. I will be really sad if you quit at 400.

What I like the most is that you give an honest opinion about the wine that you are tasting. I can usually tell just by the look on your face if you are going to like it or not. But, that honesty, is why I watch.

Sure, our palettes are different (mine isn’t nearly as advanced) but, I respect your opinion and I want to change how I look at wine. I want to learn.

I am going to my first tasting tomorrow night with a lot more confidence than I normally would have. Actually, I wouldn’t have went at all. Just for fear of looking like an idiot. Thats why I think you should keep the show going. I am sure there are a lot more peeps out there that want to learn too and many more who haven’t heard of you yet. I only started watching about a month ago. So I am sure there are many more out there.

I know I am rambling, cant help it I Love you man!!!

I can’t believe only one other commenter is thinking about that Apple TV box from #391, here. I just had an hour and a half marathon (Yesterday’s show, then #200, then today’s!) and I’ll tell you this, GV;

I admit it, I do write down the wines that get you really excited at a low price. But when I go to wine stores and can’t find them, I /keep trying/ I’ve discovered regions that I’d never even considered, after seeing you highlight some on the Thunder Show! I’ll do my part to change the wine world, GV, but I’m just getting going, and a lot of us could still use a little bit more of the Vay …. Ner …. Chuk.

QOTD: I’m hoping it’s a logic puzzle. Since GV’s always said it was us with a little bit if him that could change the wine world obviously the show is alot of him with a little bit of us. But incase that’s not the answer let us think fondly back on the past 393 episodes with fondness and remind ourselves that all truly great things such as wine and special times shared with friends are but fleeting and must be enjoyed while they are before us.

Okay…. what’s going on? This show is really picking up steam! This is no time to quit. Are you going to go onto iTunes as a paid subscription? I watch you on my AppleTV all the time. it Rocks!

Are you getting a show on FoodTV or HGTV? Just don’t change the format! I love the show! It’s like a comfortable pair of shoes that I can always count on.

Fun show. I’d love to try the Torbreck, but it’s a bit pricey. Our best Shiraz is a bottle of 1998 Penfolds Grange, but we’re waiting until 2012 to open it. If your show is still on I’ll share tasting notes with you.

QOTD: I hope I can save it, perhaps by commenting more. I am often a few days behind so I usually don’t get a chance to comment. Maybe if some other lurky lurkers came out of the shadows, we could save the show.

QOTD: so exactly who’s putting WLTV in danger? i can’t answer the QOTD without knowing what we need to save it from… is it cost issue? have you reached the point of diminishing return? maybe doing an episode once a week will help? or maybe have some sort of subscription plan? heck, if people are paying over 70 bucks a year for wine spectator, wouldn’t they rather pay a little to watch a wine show hosted by a russian jets fan who likes to fondle his cameraman’s man boobs? Man…past two episodes have been amazing…but this end of the show thing is really putting me down…first i break up with my gf in november, now WLTV gone in january…what am I gonna lose in february? the last episode of seinfeld sucked by the way…they really went out on a low note.

As long as there is wine to drink and learn from, there needs to be a show like WLTV.

Now it seems to me as if making the tv part is where you might be heading. After re-watching some of your ealier programs, you started this whole thing because you wanted a change and challenge. Well…it appears you might be ready for something bigger. Lord knows you deserve it.

Whatever you do, keep up the good work on teaching whoever your audience is ’cause there’s a limitless amount to learn about this wonderful subject.

Read the Globe and Mail article, and I think that someone might have offered our beloved Gary V a job on TV!!!! Hopefully food network grabbed you up, or something like that. I am already a food network junkie, so that would be cool. As long as you are on somewhere, and you are still Gary V, then all is well. I support you no matter how many people you please or piss off.
