Glad to hear that you’re continuing the thunder. My heart sank when I thought you might not do the show anymore. I’m going to have to go and drink some gosh darn wine with my friends and family now.
QOTD: A group of friends and I went to Colorado and climbed the highest peak in the state.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you… for all that you do for us, G.V..

Expect the best in 2008! We’re in your corner, Buddy. Remember… Life is Good!

Let’s change the Wine World… let’s turn it upside down! With you there with us… WE CAN DO IT! 🙂

    GV,

I can’t express my happiness in knowing the show will continue (the show must go on)! However, if you ever do decide to stop or slow the thunder I want you to know I am 100% behind you with any future endeavor and one way or another myself and the other Vayniacs will be right behind you keeping the beat.

    QOTD –

Best family thing I do outside of family is probably the hardcore music scene!

    KEEPIN’ IT REAL!

Welcome back!!! Nice obscure show. How about one on Lagrein.

  • WLTV is here to stay, people! Reason enough to pop a cork right there. Thanks, Gary, for keeping this thing going. I thought you were joking around the other day; sounds like you were giving the whole thing some serious thoughtâ?¦

    Good call.

QOTD: I’m finishing it up right nowâ?¦ co-writing my first novel.

    Thanks for minimizing your crisis.

QOTD: Hopefully, being a positive influence on the people that I meet each day.

  • Welcome back GV… if you need some help with the show you can always reach out to me.

    QOTD: I’ve got 2 radool non-family things.

    1) Saling holiday with my friends. We rented 2 sail boats for 10 days and we sailed it ourselves. We slept, cooked and partied on the boat. Visited many islands and met many other people along the way. We’ve done this trip twice and i can’t wait to do it again.

    2) NJ shore baby! Our group of friends are very close. We all would go down together to the shore and hang together. I looked forward to the big saturday BBQ we threw togehter and of course the sangria. Our shore house getaways is what got me started on my sangria quest.

Very glad and relieved to hear what you had to say GV!

QOTD: Each year, myself and a group of motorcycle racers shave our heads to help out kids with cancer. Each year that I lose my hair, I gain a feeling of doing good for others.

QOTD- When I 14 and away at summer camp, the entire camp played a ginormus game of capture the flag. There were somewhere around 400 people trying to capture 10 different flags on two teams. (200 per team, 5 opposing flags- following me here?)

Yours truly captured the deciding flag. I’m 38, and outside of family that is still the greatest thing I’ve ever done.

Woo Hoo, but Gary V is still going to do his thing!

I think a lot of champagne corks just popped. I’m definitely trying that Martinelli, I’m ALL about having my mouth sucked in to a void of dryness.
QOTD: inviting a bunch of people to stay at my place in Paris when they’re doing their whole euro trip thang. Inversely, my place in ny for those america-loving frenchies.

  • George from NEPA

    Gary,

You’re awesome. Thanks man for keeping it alive. I will definitely stop in and say hi next time I make my trip to NJ.

  • QOTD: Well I would have to say the best non family thing I have ever done was build lasting friendships with some of the most important people in my life. Friends that have your back, friends that pick you up when you are down, friends that you would give your life to protect. Building those lasting relationships with at first complete strangers. I would say isn’t the best thing, but the best GIFT I have ever recieved.

ps. I’m happy that you have decided to continue the Thunder Show. I do enjoy our 20 minutes together everyday 🙂 However this thing is only going to get bigger. I would say get yourself an assistant (where do I fax my resume?)! GV doesn’t have to answer every single question 🙂

  • Candace

Ah, Gary (and Mott), you make me happy. E veramente quando fate i vini itialiani che, secondo me, sono i più buoni. Right after I graduated college I moved to Italy, worked at a wine bar, learned Italian, partied, met amazing people and drank a ton of wine.

GRRRREEEEAAAAATTTT! Glad that gary v is staying on!

  • EllenKF

QOTD: Great is a big word. Probably the greatest things I’ve ever done in my life are the things that scared me the most. My first day trading in the Bond Pit at the Chicago Board of Trade comes to mind – there are very few women who can recall that experience. Skiing out of bounds on a powder day to go from Deer Valley to Park City Utah, down an untouched face and past two ski patrol guys at the bottom, then hearing the detonations of the anti-avalanche explosives behind me and my husband. That was great!
