QOTD: In the last TWO months I have gone from not liking, not understanding and not drinking wine to being very excited about trying wine! I even had a bottle of Greco Di Tufo with my hot wings during the super bowl, how about that?

QOTD: I guess my biggest wine change has been leaving my teatotaling fiance, for non-wine related reasons, and meeting a really fun new gal who spends nearly as much time studying wine as me.

Damn am I psyched for ep 400! This show got me a) into wine…. b) into food more and thinking about how things ACTUALLY taste…. and heck… even started making my own.

I can’t count the number of folks I’ve turned onto wine and the thunder show since. Spread the love!

In the last six months I have gone from drinking Pinot Noir four or five times per week to experimenting with all kinds of wines. Trying to find old world wines and more complex wines to expand my cellar.

Yeah, I was fat during that time period too. Lost 35 pounds last year…QOTD: Not sure…maybe drinking less Shiraz.

QOTD: YOU have changed my wine life! Making me and my wife look at wine completely different and discovering new wines daily! THANKS!

QOTD: Buying more wine than I ever have before. Trying more wine than I ever have before.

QOTD; Biggest change, reading lables and understanding what they mean, (french wines) it helped me better explore wine and expand my taste with confidance.

GV – Biggest change has been the lady getting into Reds again. Sweet…

QOTD: Watching WLTV has opened my eyes to the vast number of great wines and alternative sources we have available. I stopped buying wine from my one supplier here and am trying many new wines from different sources including Wine Library. Thanks G-Man.

QOTD: I have really started experimenting with other wines, esp. old world wines.

QOTD: while in the past, though a heavy wine drinker, there were wines i wouldn’t touch. i’ll try anything now for the unlimited experience. Thanks, GV!

QOTD: The biggest thing I want to do is start focusing on Bordeux and Burgundy more and more. Also I am enrolled in the ISG and I want to ace the class as well. Being a Bronco fan it was hard to see those G-Men win but BeliCHICK is a baby so it made it easier for me to be happy for the Giant nation. Way to go Mott!!!

QOTD- Now living in Germany, and started loving white wines. A year ago I was very ignorant of them, but it is true that you have to let your pallet develop. All about the Riesling’s under five. Kassel represent!

QOTD: Probably the whole process of bringing in smell and taste. Problem is when the ‘tail or something like that comes out, I don’t enjoy it as much…still drink it though.

The biggest change in my winelife in the last six months is that I found Winelibrary and I am enjoying a much bigger variety of wines because of you!! Thanks a bunch!!!

QOTD: Starting to drink wine! I am very new to this and I thank you Sir Gary of Vaynerchuck (ok and Mott to) for helping me throughought this new adventure!

In the last 6 months, I have:

– Grown to love white wine.

– Began trying wines from areas of the US and the world that I would have never tried before (Visiting local PA vineyards with a more open mind has been a great experience).

– Trying wine/food combinations I would have never tried before (Riesling and steak!)

– Convincing all of my friends to try wine, even if they tell me they don’t like it!

In the last 6 months I have learned to appreciate the role of acid in wine (in moderation!).

I’ve started playing with my wine!! And finding new varietals, I was kind of a one trick pony there for a while 🙂

QOTD: Finding this show has changed my wine world in the last six months! You have opened my eyes and expanded my horizons. I am still a NOOB but I am starting to feel like I can go to a wine store and pick out a wine with some idea of what to expect. Keep the education rolling.
