Favorite vodka is Reyka, from Iceland. Filtered through volcanic rocks, possibly the ones that wrecked airplane travel months back. Very clean, great packaging, little booklet. If I can't find that, there's some beautiful plastic jugged varieties out of the Irvington region of Jersey.

    My most favorite vodka i ever had… Arktic (small producer only ever found in 1 bar in the world. Florence, Italy) it might have even been homemade. It blew me away, and at 16 (thank god for the low drinking age) I was hooked on high-end vodka’s. Now 23 I am hooked on tasting every good wine i can get my hands on. This time it is thanks to GV

    Favorite vodka is definitely Ciroc. It’s a French vodka that’s actually made from grapes. I’m very surprised it wasn’t on todays show. Man, I can’t believe we’re at 400 episodes that’s so kick ass. I can’t thank you enough for brightening up my day and sharing so much knowledge and passion. WLTV is always the first thing I do when I get home from busting my butt all day at work. That and a nice glass of wine is the perfect way to wind down. You rock GV!

    QOTD: No Vodka for me, I am really not a big fan. I guess the best one I had probably would be Grey Goose.

A coed on his way to class enthusiastically asked, “Hey Coach, we gonna win this weekend?” Coach looked puzzled. “Are you on the team?” he asked. When the young man replied no, Coach said, “Then it looks like you’re not going to be doing much of anything this weekend.”

    I spread the thunder by wearing my WLTV shirt when I go out. I tell people about WLTV when they ask what’s on my shirt and love getting comments from Vayniacs on the street. I also post on Daniel Rogov’s wine forum every time you have an episode worth mentioning. I make like Mott and link WLTV up. That usually gets a few hundred reads. I also tell my friends and family about WLTV. I also write a food column for my university newspaper and plan on putting a link in a future article.

    QOTD: I haven’t had much vodka, but I would have to say my favorite is The Jewel of Russia. It is pretty classic in its approach, and has a pretty cool package, made complete with a wax seal. Smooth enough to drink on its own, but won’t break the bank if you want to make quality mixed drinks. They also make a Bilberry infused one, that is lower in alcohol, dark red in color, and a touch sweet. Sort of a ready-made Cosmo. I am also very excited about a Long Island vodka coming out soon called LiV (rhymes with 5) made from the famous long island potato.

    Congrats on 400 Gary – we love you so much and appreciate everything you bring to the table. Check out my thunder spreading – i’ve almost been kicked out of so many liquor stores in LA for telling people they’re spending way too much money on junk – plus me and all of my friends now have a tradition – we watch an episode of TTS after Lost every week now!
