Not so of anything else (lagavulin, Dogfish head IPA). Without a guide, its too daunting to attempt all the choices necessary to even get started with wine, cheers!

Happy 400th! QOTD: Black Death Vodka from Transylvania! Sugar beet vodka, clean, never had a hangover from it, Slash’s brand, U.S. Dept. Food & Drug took it off the market in like 1994 for having a skeleton on the label (BS reason if you ask me).

Happy 400th Gary! Hey, even if you didn’t like the result of the SB, you had to like the game. Give Eli credit. Most of NY had written the kid off as a championship caliber quarterback, but he showed grit in leading his team to victory. Good job, Eli!

You had me worried there for a moment with the vodka. How could you not review a wine for the 400th episode??? I even popped a bottle of wine for this occasion. Opened up a bottle of South African Pinotage. Don’t really like it, but I’m spending time with it to try and figure it out. We’ll see.

I don’t really like vodka, so I have an alternate QOTD (anybody is welcome to share it if they don’t like vodka either):
What have I gotten out of WLTV so far?
QOTD2: Watching the past 200 or so episodes of WLTV has really made me feel like a part of a larger community. Not just of people who like wine, but of people who like steak, like the Jets, like good tea, like good cheese, whatever it is. Because ultimately this show is about life. It gets crazy sometimes, and some things are unexpected. But it’s grounded in a lot of values, such as enjoying life, spending time with family (huddled around the computer watching WLTV, of course), and it’s mostly about understanding who you are and maybe trying to open that up a little and change and experience new things. Thanks for WLTV, Gary Vaynerchuk, and thank you for letting us change the wine world-heck a lot of worlds-through you.

I thought the congrats would be going to everyone there for the 400th ep – as it should!!! However, it appears that the gang there is ALMOST more excited about the Giants win – so congrats on that too – many here in Packer territory quickly became Giants fans in the last few days before the game and were pulling for a win with you.

QOTD: Not sure what they made it with, but had a homemade vanilla vodka that rocked (store bought vodka, vanilla bean dropped in, allowed to sit for about six months) – certainly better than any of the homemade wines I’ve ever tasted 🙂

QOTD: being part of the CKC I haven’t had all that many kinds of vodka… but my favorite thus far has been lime Smirnoff.

The Thunder is spread the old fashioned way and the most effective way. Word of mouth, its a little slow but once you get there, you stay there. Vodka, I love it, seem to always go back to Ketel. 400! the show just keeps getting better, congrats to you and your staff. What happened to Brady? I’ve never seen him look so Manning like, please tell me he didn’t get a new Swiss bank acct.
