I’m really stoked to see the clos du prieur on the show. I’ve had the previous vintage and greatly enjoyed several bottles of it and definitely agree with your assessment of the wine.

Right now other than family and wine I’m really into setting up my 1982 BMW 318is for the 24hrs of LeMons with my friends. http://www.24hoursoflemons.com

  • Passionate about the ’77 & ’78 Yankees, specifically Thurman Munson. I was 10-11 years old, totally into little league and cable TV just came to our town so I got to watch the Yanks on WPIX. I was the catcher on my team (happened to be the Yankees) and immediately connected with the Yankee captain. Totally crushed the following year when the big man went down in that Cessna.

  • I am really compelled to buy a wine that you describe as lemon creme brulee….mmm, anything desert-ish!

So, I really appreciated the MY Little Ponies today for the ladies! I used to love those, and I actually had one of the ones you displayed 🙂

I am passionate about my loved ones, dancing, cooking/food, homeopathy, fitness & beauty, good people, culture, history…and I think I wrote enough without giving you my bio.

QOTD: Most definately.. FOOD! Very few other things in this world have the power to reconnect us with each other, and the ground we walk on (save wine of course!). Which is probably why they go so good together.. forget all that flavor stuff, just take in the essence of it. There is so much that many people do not get to experience; such a diversity of ingredients.

There is a big shift going on in this country especially in terms of our food industry. You see it everywhere. The diversity of small artisan shops – cheesemakers, bread, charcuterie. Look at the Whole Foods phenom. Its changing; people are becoming more involved in what they put in their bodies. It is totally awesome and so needed. Its going back to the land too people! And dont forget about the fish either! Stop eating that darn ahi tuna! GO SUSTAINABLE. Wild caught Alaskan Salmon/Halibut, Kona Kampachi, Farmed Tilapia, Barramundi, Stripped Bass, Bay Scallops, Farmed Shellfish, Farmed Rainbow Trout – all beautiful things that wont strip our planet of its diversity in years to come. No more foreign caught shrimp, chilean seabass, orange roughy, red snapper, and most other imported fish.. whew.. /rantoff.

QOTD: The stock market (currently BBD if you want a more specific pick), watching Kansas Jayhawk basketball, and lately more than anything playing pick-up basketball. To me there’s no more enjoyable thing in this world (other than charitable stuff) than playing pick-up basketball.
