A Face in the Crowd…Holly Dunn

Loved them all but for different reasons. Secret pack days have are like Christmas around here. We had three different cheeses, crackers and apples to pair with the wines.

QOTD: Hanging out at home with friends, family or my girlfriend. Adding wine to the mix is always good as well.

QoTD: working and golfing, otherwise hanging out with the fiance and my English Bulldog, Tank.

got home from the yankee home opener last night and wanted to break open my secret pack and drink along with Gary, but the thought of good wine on top of Stadium Beer was a turn off and smart move…I did watch the episode (good one Gary) and will view it again tonight with the wine in hand (while the Yankee game is on mute)

A good “hang” for me is on any court or field coaching my Boys Sports team

We had a lot of fun with this! I’m excited to try the Le Muscle again tonight after letting it breathe a little bit. Straight out of the bottle, it was hardcore cave-aged gruyere cheese with the cassis and honey at the back. It was awesome then, but it sounds like the cheese backs off with airing. The other red is slated to be opened tonight…

QOTD: Chubby’s Sports Bar (Ironic (am I using this correctly?) because I don’t care much for sports). I do like $2.00 22 oz drafts, however.

I love it when you skip the “OH THIS” in your intro instead of saying “THIS MY FRIENDS, OH THIS, IS THE THUNDER SHOW.” I prefer when you emphasize the “AKA THE INTERNET’S MOST PASSIONATE WINE PROGRAM.”

Super awesome show! The secret pack days are way fun! We had some great cheeses and fresh apples to go along with the wines and the pairings didn’t disappoint. Really enjoyed all the wines and the Le Muscle was KILLER with some beef satay and peanut sauce we had later on. Thanks for another great secret pack tasting!

We love to hang out with family, but we especially love to hang out in the Carribean. Just got our vacation to Mexico planned today and can’t wait to go this summer. I see the resort has an extensive wine list, but I’m ready for some Mojitos! Great episode, wish I could get those shipped here to Montana.

Great show. My first time tasting with you and now I cant wait till the next package is released. I actually had a friend join me and we both enjoyed it.

QOTD: Our favorite hang out is at a restuarant in Clovis CA. Michael Angelos, the owner their loves it when we come in with a different bottle of wine every week and have our own wine tasting along with him.

This is my first tasting with you (and my first comment), and I tried these wines just opened and decanted over the course of 24 hours. The tomato and fleshy plum flavor in the Fitou really starts to show up after the most intriguing flavors had long blown off. The just opened nose is both right up your alley and totally unique. It reeks of manure and more importantly cardamom, which is the first time I’ve ever gotten that out of a wine.

QOTD: I like to hang out in my back sunroom drinking vino. Had a great time today doing that with some friends, enjoying good Italian vino, and good food and cheese!
