    I can understand why you scored the wine the way you did – for me, it was an 89-90 type of wine – our palates definitely got a lot of the same notes and flavors, which makes me happy (and proud that my palate is coming along). Easy to enjoy, it was great while skiing (may have added to the points!)

    QOTD: Karma, GV. You treat others well, you are earnest, and committed and the Karma is just coming back your way. Keep it coming!!

  • Thanks for the Hangout Friday with a pretty good wine. Your recent Aussies, Water Wheel and Mitolo will be sampled tonight.

    QOTD: A good one but I’m guessing it has to do with your positive attitude and you realizing how lucky you are. Some people go through life being depressed and not coming to the realization that they too are lucky but don’t seem to get it. We are all very fortunate and blessed and hopefully, spread that good cheer, happiness and love to everyone we meet.

    You’re killing the old school references these days, When I was a kid I used to walk to the store with my friends carrying plastic grocery bags full of empty pop bottles to cash in and and buy those “pebble gum in a carton” thingys, among other popular candy of that time…
