I just got a 100% tempranillo wine that was low in price and rated high so I am curious how it will taste.
QOTD: My go to cereals are cinnamon toast crunch and peanut butter crunch, keeping it healthy of course.

QOTD: Familia Museli. It’s Swiss, and if you liked the Swizz wines (or at least the Swiss wine woman Sophie) from episode 396, it’s worth a try to expand your cereal pal.
And thanks for the restraint on the #16 bit. I was afraid you might lapse into another lame Vinnie rant and I’d have to tune out.

Gary, HA HA! The double nickel score was hilarious, and from everything you said, right on point. 5 points for having something reminiscent of fruit lurking in the background. QOTD: Smart Start Clusters

i love when the super cheap wines are amazing! especially since it’s a grape i’ve never tried before.

QOTD: I like it all! Like to move from sugary stuff like Fruity Pebbles to the simple yet healthy picks like Grapenuts.

A better question perhaps is this: Do you use milk for your cereal, or do you prefer the new and trendy soy milk substitues? (My answer – I tried the soy, but it’s too viscous and sweet – have to go traditional and pour on the cow juice.)

QOTD: Kashi Go-Lean Crunch. Love the stuff with a some light vanilla soy milk on it. Gives me the wind though, cripes. And no, I’m not a hippie, just trying to age gracefully. Besides, the more moderate and healthy I am in some areas, the more hedonistic I can be in others. 🙂

QOTD: I haven’t been eating cereal for breakfast really for like the past year…usually have eggs and toast or a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. If I do have cereal, it’s when I need a snack, in which case it would be the cinnamon mini wheats that just came out. There’s a cereal that brings some thunder.

    Hello:

This grape variatal is also used in Portugal, in the Douro Regin it is Known as Tinta Roriz (used mainly for making Porto wine) and in the Alentejo region it is known as Aragonêz.

    Keep Well.

Great show. Loved the humor tonight. I’m eating Del Haize Granola with Blueberry yoghurt. Overall I think cereal mostly sucks though.

Thanks for a good episode. You continue to make me aware of the HUGE number of choices I have.

QOTD – Not a big cereal fan but like Grape Nuts, plain Cheerio’s, none of the highly sugered (is that a word?) choices out there.
