I just got a 100% tempranillo wine that was low in price and rated high so I am curious how it will taste.
QOTD: My go to cereals are cinnamon toast crunch and peanut butter crunch, keeping it healthy of course.

  • I’m going to have to seek out the wine that smelled like Smarties. I love those things. I still remember a kid that sat next to me in my English class in 7th grade that used to crush and snort Smarties.

Side QOTD: No water w/stuff in my fridge.

    QOTD: Corn Pops.

QotD: I used to eat bear naked, but it got to be too pricey in my area, so I switched to target’s archer farms organic with blueberries and granola. It is good stuff, especially for the price.

If I had a choice it’s Boo Berry but lately plain old Puffed Wheat to help cut down on the sugar intake.

    Tempranillo!
QOTDs: a. My water comes out of a little spout on the outside of the fridge. It’s filtered. When I use a pitcher I like to add lemon.
    b. Oatmeal with blueberries. Guilty pleasure: grapenuts with skim milk and bananas, but I have to eat it standing up because my cat Cleo likes it too.

I also had a very good Tempranillo the other day it was a 2004 Condado de Haza Tinto Del Ruebero. It was very enjoyable along with my Colorado Lamb cooked 3 ways.

Excellent show. I really enjoy Tempranillo wines from Spain. The 2005 Bodegas Arrocal is one of my favorites. Gotta try the La Linda (Argentina).

QOTD: I eat a mix of Wheat Chex, Basic Four, Spoon Size Shredded Wheat and All-Bran in Vanilla soy milk.

Lovin’ the Tempranillo. Been drinking a very small production wine made with Texas grown Tempranillo, blended with Cab S, and a splash of Cab Franc. Nice drink for a Texas wine, though a bit overpriced as are many small local wines. Still I’m a sucker for people who love what they do, are passionate in their POV and just nice darn folks to hang around. Lee Fuqua qualifies on all counts.

?OD: Some granola, lots of fresh fruit and berries and some yogurt. If I’m feeling totally wacky perhaps some honey.

QOTD: Have to admit to stealing my daughter’s Cheerios from time to time but I’m more of an eggs and man these days.

Boring generic corn cereal (Think Chex)

Also, Fixin is pronounced Fissin, which rhymes with…you know.

Good show, La Linda looked pretty good, sad to see the Oak Monster kicked your ass again. That dude is mean.

Gary: QOTD, eating Cheerios. I experiment with crazy cereals, but I always return to the base. Drinking red wine (usually California cab)and feeling like I am actually chewing an oak tree is an experience I’ve had: I don’t like it. Take care, keep up the good work.
