I represented at one of the biggest wine events in the city – Toast the Town Chicago, 500 wines 20 local restaurants.. but I was dissapointed Gary. I was workin the wristband, and with style too – no one at the event inquired or knew about it. Ironically, I met a lady getting of the train who caught up with me and took a video interview about why I was wearing the wristband. Ill email it to you when I get a copy! (Youll see the style in the vid!) So yea.. we need some thunder in Chicago; we got some work to do. If you come ill help you bring it!

You give everything (or so it seems) to this job, and WLTV, but that doesn’t leave a lot of time for your wife/family. We love what you do for use, but we want to make sure you’re happy.

This is a long shot, but come to Phoenix!! We are the 5th largest city in the US for goodness sakes 😉

QOTD: I’d ask if you were picking up the tab?? just kidding. I’d probably ask you to tell me more about adjusting to the US and your initial thoughts and feelings about this place when you first came here. I’d also ask you to make Mott a damn t-shirt already.

QOTD: what would be a good business opportunity in the wine world today? I mean big money, such as exploring emerging markets like China or India 🙂

Speaking of Italian whites, I recently drank the 2004 Anselmi Capitel Croce from the Veneto (100% gargenega, single vineyard) which was gorgeous. Lots of tangerine and walnuts on the nose(and a little garbage aroma GV style), great acidity but pretty full bodied, long nutty finish. I got it on sale for 15 bones but usually retails for around 20. Still a great value and shows whats up with the gargenega!

Hey GV, fun show today. I’m coming to Chicago to see you, but I think you should roll through Michigan as well. No real preference on which city, although you should hit up the west coast, and check out the big lake.
