    QotD: just had a bottle of the 2005 Abandon Carneros Chard. Unfortunately, it can’t hold a candle to the ’04. Very bummed that I bought a case of it. 🙁

    The last chardonnay I tried was Little Black Dress. I think it was $9.00 and I didn’t really care for it. My favorite chardonnay is Merryvale Starmont.

    Awww yes, top 20, I don’t have a wristband, if I did, I would be top10 everytime!

    QOTD:(I think since I haven’t watched today yet) I had a 2006 Veramonte Chardonnay from Casablanca. Pretty good!

  • QOTD: i can’t remember, it was other week and i didn’t find it that good so i didn’t remember what it was.
    It was a whole lot better than this horrible Pinot Bianco i’m drinking right now, which tastes like someone left a bottle of water open in their garden for a year. Lame
    Hope you’re having fun on your vacation Gary.
    Can’t wait to hear what sort of awesome ideas you’ve had when you’ve been “relaxing”, i mean, do you ever relax? really?

    QOTD – Flora Springs 2004 Chardonnay. My wife likes Chards so I am forced to suck it up on ocassion. This Chardonnay was very good – crisp, clean and not over oaked as so many others I have tasted.

    QOTD: 2004 Beringer Vineyards Chardonnay Private Reserve – lots of butter popcorn jellybellies and pear, not TOO oaky. I remember I liked it.

    QOTD: Last Chard was a Newton (maybe 2005) and was quite good

    I have never really been into chards, but have recently been trying some big White Burgs and Chablis, very different but “real” whites and not the wimpy stuff.
