Long time lurker, coming out AFTER you give something away!

QOTD: I (we) bring wines (this year a sparkling pinot rose that we’re really excited about, a couple of bottles of Reisling and a couple of US Cabs, we think they are the ultimate US wine for the ultimate US holiday) and pie. Most of the family doesn’t really geek out on wine, but we have fun sharing something we love with them.

A question on the three pack you’ll be selling at Cinderella… can we order them online and pick up at the store (or are they available in the store?) I live in MD, and our legislature doesn’t think we are responsible enough to have wine shipped to our houses without paying off a MD distributer.. but I am scheduling some meetings for work in the Northern NJ area and might be able to stop by and pick up purchases.

Would LOVE to be able to take advantage of the wine specials, but unfortunately we live in TN and the new law doesn’t include retail.

QOTD: Bringing the whole meal, wine, and myself; it’s just my husband and I this Thanksgiving.

QOTD: My husband and daughter will be going to my In-laws on Wednesday as I’m working until 1 am. David coordinating lunch this year and I’m helping cook as well once I get there. Then I’ll lend a hand at my Mom’s house. Family First!

My wife and I will be visiting my sister and her husbands family.

I will bring my razor like wit and unique insight to the world.

And green bean casserole. Haven’t figured out which wine yet.

QOTD: will be at a fren’s place, likely to bring a bottle of red. We’ll see…

I’ll be going to Santa Barbara, CA with a friend and his wife that invited me to his parent’s place cause I’m not able to make it back to Louisiana. I’ll be bringing some killer wine and champagne, as well as a cynical sense of humor.

Enjoyed this episode. First I’ve thought it would be boring. Chardonnays, common)) But at the end I was pretty surprised with couple of things:
1. I’ve enjoyed the way Mott moved the camera and U’ve changeg the angle during the tasting of the 3rd wine. Nice, looks fresh, cause your “one sit shots” are too long for me sometimes. The plate with different stuff (you forgot to taste it or it was and intantion to stick a knife in the butter:)?
2. I just love your improvisation style and that last shot with childish smyle was hilarious.

QOTD: OOpps, we don’t have Thanksgiving in Ukraine) But still if we would, I would bring some nice Sicilian Red)

QOTD: I’m hosting 20 and doing everything but desserts. I don’t do desserts. It’s hard saying ‘no thank you’ to my guests every year. They want to bring food and I want to make MY recipes. Maybe I should say, “Fine!! Bring your own food!! I said not to bring food but apparently, you can’t respect my wishes. Why am I even hosting if you can’t respect your host’s wishes!!” If they have to bring something, then bring a hostess gift, not a side dish. I repeat, I am making the Thanksgiving meal whether you like it or not.

QOTD: Don’t have thanks giving in the UK but if there was in terms of what I would be bringing to the table it would be my pants – to – the party – the pants party – my pants… I would like to invite you to the pants party, the party in my pants.. (Guess the film!! he he he!!)

Classic “old school” WLTV – this is what I’ve always loved. I am NOT complaining about the interviews or any other format show that you’ve done. But these are my favorites. QOTD: We are going over my sister-in-law’s house and she is making the dinner. We are bringing my mother-in-law who is staying with us for a couple of days. I get to bring one bottle of wine so I am still thinking about that – maybe a Rhone. Usually I make the desserts, but this year I was basically told that others wanted to help out, so for a change, I will just chill and enjoy the family love.

love the “OS” look to this show and you know i dig the Cali Chards. whenever i hit Rosewood Grill in Vegas for buttered lobster i look for Brewer-Clifton but usually roll with a Ashley’s or Sweeney Canyon. the profile you described in the basic SRH 08 is WAYYYY different from what i recall.

QotD: brought a 07 Copain James Berry Roussanne and myself as i did get done with work thru both hospitals in time to have the whole T’giving shebang!
