I’ve been seeing your show for a couple of weeks now and I noticed you mentioned Brazil a few times on this one. I wonder if you have ever tasted any brazillian wine in your shows, and if not, do you have any intention to do so? I’d love to see it! And just other comment, we do not get oil here out of luck, there are many projects and surveys for that. haha. Waiting for 500 episode!

Iâ??m totally in favor of you having Eagle fans on the show. I havenâ??t read your book yet, thereâ??s still a couple ahead of it in my reading queue, but I look forward to the Randall reference. His tenure with the green birds was exciting times in town. Iâ??m guessing Jim isnâ??t really looking for a wine to short but is probably trying to gain appreciation for the down side risk of long investments in wine. I too enjoyed the shows adrenaline level.

Great 499th & 500th! I kept the live feed of the latter up for a good 30 minutes afterrwards end of the show, just to check out the party. Then in the accompanying chat room, Gary’s wife joined the conversation. I’m confident it was indeed Lizzie, because she shared specific, verified insights about other of G.V.’s immediate family members who’ve appeared on WLTV. Needless to say, it was pretty cool getting to wrap with her. Unfortunately, the live feed ended, and she left the room, before I could tell her I’m desparately looking for a bottle of any vintage of El Nido, “Clio”. I’ve found the El Nido, “El Nido”, but it’s $149! BTW, this is “Big-Fruit Shiraz Guy” from the Austin book signing…Please get back with me at: [email protected]

QotD: Great QotD… I think the crappy French vintages, like Gary’s 2007s, are going to fall off once people realize they’re not up to snuff. The Bordeaux market will correct itself [except for the 2005s], and we’ll be back to normal.

I’m sorry to say that I thought that was the worst WineLibrary TV episode ever. Jim Cramer brayed like a jackass throughout it. Was having him on episode 499 just a ploy to make 500 look all the better by contrast?

Where can you get two guys with that much enthusiasm? No where but WLTV!

QOTD: Good question… unfortunately I can’t think of a wine that you could short sell. 2007 Bordeauxs are going to be expensive, even though the vintage sucked, but like Gary said, they have the brand equity and will likely sell even at rediculous prices, so that’s out of the picture.

Gary,Mott and the gang just the best I love WLTV and love MAD MONEY just as much. How just how do I ask myself what things in the universe do I love more that wine, Gary, Mott and Crammerrrrrrr Boo Yah babbyyyyy! I love watching but damn thunder like never before. Speaking of thunder….theme song my vote AC/DC Thunderstruck! Check it out Thunderstruck baby!

This needs to be a regular thing. I would love to see Jim with say 2 more tastes He would be on the floor!!! That would just be the best I think Jim would just be a riot hammered. Once again keep it going great work thanks to Jim for doing the show and oh Gary plug Jim’s books too please he plugged yours several times.
If Jim’s on again tell him to take off his coat loosen up a bit!

Good fun! I need to think about my money more, investing it, and using the profits to buy and drink delicious wines. Didn’t quite get the QOTD but checked out Mainstreet and will probably keep my eye on it to encourage myself to invest my money.

Great show! I’ve only been watching for about a month now, and have watched some past episodes, but this was a great episode. I loved the conversation between the two of you. I like that Jim was honest and you didn’t make him feel like he had to taste the complexity that you do. Great job as always Gary.

Epic episode. Seriously. I never really thought about wine as an investment.

I would have to say this was my least favorite show ive seen. Jim trying to steal the thunder a little. he needed to plug it and let gary do his thing. im excited for episode 500.
