Just got turned on to WLTV and am LOVING it! Lotta catching up to do, and this episode was great. Gotta get my hands on some Gigondas. It’s too bad that some of these wines are hard to find. Kind of fun adventuring to find them though.

Love Gigondas! Quite a popular and widely available Rhone Red over here in the UK. Much better value than most Papes that are a few quid more expensive.

In the past year, my palate has enjoyed wines from Gigondas, Vacqueyras. Vinsobres, Fitou. Good show.

I have tasting notes on the 2000 Montirius, and it was a serious disappointment. It may have been mistreated. So I may have to try a more recent vintage to give it another chance. I certainly am interested in the fruit-bomb-old-world-vibe.

Thanks for the thanks. Believe me, your work is a true public service, and it is truly appreciated.

Idea for drinking game: Drink twice when you do that little nod (my favorite gesture of yours). Or have two bottles ready and open the more expensive one when the Jets win. That should save me a lot of money.
