Good to see you paying some homage to the other 46 again. Bron bron is the man and I can’t wait for the Olympics to start and watch him dominate again.

But I really think you need to do a tasting of NC wines again. Your last NC episode wasn’t really exemplary of the best in our state. Childress is definately good but you should try some of the other producers who are well-established like Shelton, Raylen, Biltmore, Westbend…or the up and coming McRitchie. Hit me up and I can definately put you in contact with some of these folks.

Gary I am not surprised that slowly good wines are popping up all over this country. I hope sooner rather then later we get those world class wines you mentioned. As far as my favorite thing about Ohio is Skyline Chili and Chef Michael Symon.

We won the U.S Open in Akron Ohio when I was a kid. That’s all I know about Ohio Homey! That was like 35 years ago…. 🙁

QOTD: greatest thing about Ohio the football hall of fame, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also the fact you can walk into a grocery store and get the vino that is kick ass

Fav thing about Ohio is the Germantown district in Columbus. I would never associate Ohio with wine, but that is why I watch wltv.

Good show, the midwest is doing pretty well with wine, I’ve had Kentucky wine that showed potential, and some Illinois wines are good. I’m not usually digging any of the hybrids, you should go into that in another show.

I lived in Ohio as a kid so I have lots of favorite things, but just this week as I was trying to find a serviceable tomato to make a BLT here in Florida with no success I have to say: home grown Ohio tomatoes. Period. Full stop.

I just read BW’s comment- Blue Ash Chili! Yeah man! Those ridiculous double decker sandwiches, I haven’t thought about them in years but WOW! Spot on! And Greater’s ice cream. . .

QOTD: I concure, best thing about Ohio…Vernon Gholston (he will be in our opponents backfield early and often) but I’ll add Nick Mangold in there as well!

Nice to see a “other 46” follow-up on the theme that started in earnest with the show featuring wines from my Mid-Atlantic trip!

Forget UM vs Ohio State. Think the green as in the New York Jet’s and MSU Spartans.
