So far my personal wine list (which I use when I’m browsing for something new to try) has been vacant of any sparkling wines. So I must congratulate you on helping kick start that section of the list.

QOTD: surprisingly enough, I have a bottle of my favorite “bubbly” is sitting right beside me as I write. It is available from a popular store here in Canada called Shoppers Drug Mart. It’s called “Frizzante” and the particular bottle in question is the blood orange flavour. It is a european soda style beverage and it comes in these nifty shaped bottles. QOTD – By twenty years’ volume of consumption as the criterion, I’d have to say Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale, who, coincidentally, celebrates 20 years of fine craft brewing in Cleveland this week.

I got very sentimental watching this show – the first wine I really liked was a moscato. Perfect introductory wine for the non-winedrinker. QOTD: allagash curieux

QOTD – I really enjoy Ginger Ale and try any new bottles I can find. One of my favorite sodas was called “Aspen” which tasted like an apple flavored 7-UP – unfortunately it isn’t being made any longer…

QOTD: Sumac Ridge Steller’s Jay (http://www.sumacridge.com/contentmanager/ViewObject.aspx?sys-Portal=24&sys-Class=Wine&sys-ID=109) is my fav bubbly. It’s good but not expensive.

QOTD: 1995 Krug…. I know, I know.. duh. but after that I’d say 1998 Gaston Chiquet Special Club, and then after that I’d say the rootbeer that Fuddrucker’s in Denver CO used to have on tap.

Favorite Bubbly: Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA. It is a delicious nectar.
