Good show! Love Champagne, 1996 Billecart Salmon for the price, Krug
if you can deal with the price tag.

Very nice. I love the sparklers. But I tend to stay with the brut style. I’ll have to re-visit the Moscato.

QOTD: Picking a favorite sparkling beverage would be like picking a favorite child. You may have one, but you can’t hurt anyone’s feelings.

    Hi Gary,

Glad to see someone else enjoying these wines. I have had a little bit of stick in the past with people saying it’s a ladie’s drink but you have given me confidence to drink it again.

Cheers and keep up the good work! Looking forward to a Lambrusco series at some point!?

A&W WITH a Butterfinger candy bar.

For something with a little grown-up juice I’ve been on a kick lately of diet 7-up with light rum.

  • That’s such a funny show! Heh heh what a good imagination GV has, with the Jets defeating the Patriots and all. WE SHALL SEE, GV.
QOTD: I kind of like Dr. Pepper

  • So far my personal wine list (which I use when I’m browsing for something new to try) has been vacant of any sparkling wines. So I must congratulate you on helping kick start that section of the list.

QOTD: surprisingly enough, I have a bottle of my favorite “bubbly” is sitting right beside me as I write. It is available from a popular store here in Canada called Shoppers Drug Mart. It’s called “Frizzante” and the particular bottle in question is the blood orange flavour. It is a european soda style beverage and it comes in these nifty shaped bottles. QOTD – By twenty years’ volume of consumption as the criterion, I’d have to say Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale, who, coincidentally, celebrates 20 years of fine craft brewing in Cleveland this week.

I got very sentimental watching this show – the first wine I really liked was a moscato. Perfect introductory wine for the non-winedrinker. QOTD: allagash curieux

QOTD – I really enjoy Ginger Ale and try any new bottles I can find. One of my favorite sodas was called “Aspen” which tasted like an apple flavored 7-UP – unfortunately it isn’t being made any longer…

  • QOTD: 1995 Krug…. I know, I know.. duh. but after that I’d say 1998 Gaston Chiquet Special Club, and then after that I’d say the rootbeer that Fuddrucker’s in Denver CO used to have on tap.
