While we’re on the Oregon Subject; interested to know what you think about the Coeur Blanc from Domaine Serene.

Good show. It’s nice when you have a knowledgeable and unbiased guest on the show.

QOTD: Two at a time. 😉

  • Really interesting episode with someone who could talk wine with Gary, seemed really natural.

Did anyone else notice the music playing in the background?

Leif, you did awesome on the show! Love to see the real knowledgeable guests to hear palate comparisons with Gary.

I have some Boedecker in my cellar. Looking forward to getting into some of that!

QOTD: I’m not sure I should say publicly. 🙂

  • We love the Pinots from the Willamette! In fact, just came back from there a few weeks ago – – but not before I published this great interview about GaryVee!!! http://tinyurl.com/5gzu6r

It’s good to see and hear people who know what they’re talking about such as sommeliers like today’s host. Here up in Canada, it’s hard to get American wines except California and other bigger producers.

QOTD: Having it my way might not be the most eye opening experience. I know what I like, but having other people’s views and opinions somehow make my way a little more open-minded…

    Great show.

    Keep up the great work!

  • I love the Oregon Pinots and the area they are produced. Being a member of the OPNC, you hit home with tonight’s episode. So much in fact I ran downstairs and popped an ’02 Patty Green and tasted along with you guys. Lovely part of the country. If your guest wants to become a publisher I’ll switch jobs with him if he wants to come to the East Coast?

QOTD: I see “Bill” above me hit it right on the head but since I’ll keep it G-rated, if I could have it my way it would be:

G-Man and I would be arguing before the Supreme Court with Randall Grahm as our lawyer overturning the archaic direct shipping laws for ALL 50 STATES!

    Cheers!

P.S. Congrats to Da Bears. My boys lost. 🙁

  • Danny C

live it, love it, I want more of it!

Great show. A soon to be classic. Leif nailed it. Big shouts to him for
the recommendations as I will be visiting Oregon next year.

Boedecker QOTD: I bought 2 bottles about a month and a half ago. Had one with
an apple & sausage stuffed pork tenderloin. Very good stuff

Leif QOTD: A little more wine and alot more peace

Hey, great ep! I simply loved the banter from the two of you – both experts and often with different takes on the wines. It was a truly enjoyable show!

QotD: I’d have it healthy and happy =-)

  • Hmmmmm…. He claims to be from the region and doesn’t know how to pronounce Philomath? Pretty suspect I’d say!

BTW, it’s fill-o-muth with the empahsis on the “o”
