QOTD – had a costieres de nimes this week – just a generic one – but I was very impressed – excited to see it on the show

cool.. something I’ve never heard of.

QOTD: 1. You should have put this in the secret pack before the price skyrockets. It sounds awesome, and once the “critics” expose it, that $50 price is going to be reality.

2. Jets/Patriots. I predict the game will be played.

Oh – the Spanish lilt onthe pronunciation is interesting – I guess it is down toward that part of the world, but it’s french, it should surely be like cost-yair

QOTD1: Like the area and the wines I’ve had from there… my wife loves the area.
QOTD2: Jets are so going to take the Pats Thomas won’t be able to run but Coles, Jericho and Brett are going to open it up in the air.

Hopefully there will continue to be values from the ‘fringe’ areas of France like Nimes for many many years to come.

The first wine I ever liked was a rose from Nimes. It’s always been a good solid ‘go-to’ region, and I hope it doesn’t become too popular/expensive

Cool — sounds like a wine to look for. I have no predictions, though, until I try one for myself. Hmmmmmmm, Jets or Patriots? I’ll go with Jets, just to make you happy GaryV. 🙂

I hate to be a kill joy, but these wines may languish next to the Languedoc. We’re heading into slower economic times, and there is only so much wine people can buy. Nimes wines of great quality should rise and trade at a level more on par with the Rhone, but they won’t get quite there unless the economy turns around. Let’s all hope Brett beats the pants of the Pats….Jets 24, Pats 21.

YEAH for the Dwight bobblehead! And thanks for that little tidbit at the end, some of us need that sort of information when we just jump into the wine world.

QOTD: I’m predicting, with your influence, this wine will only get better. You probably sold it out through this show. I really don’t know much about football, but I’ll hope for a Jets win just for you!
