That was a great, straight from the heart episode. I could really see the passion for wine making.

QOTD: I would love to have a place where people could have great tasty food and chill out with friends around a coffee or a glass of wine. (and my wine list would be 50% old world and 50% new world), not like most places in the UK where a so called ‘good wine’ has to have tons of fruit and sugar and say “gallo” or “jacobs creek” on the label. (sorry for the rant but it drives me nuts)

Food and wine paring really brings the drinking and eating experiences in synergy to another level when it is done in a balanced and honnest way, with the custumer’s individual interest in mind.

Pretty good show though it would have been great if the wines were half decent. Oh well. What can you do. Sweetheart of a guest. And I’m sure she speaks French? I’m melting now.

QOTD: Starting pitcher for the NY Yankees though I hate ’em but you said “dream” job. But to be more realistic (though I was drafted by the KC Royals out of high school during the George Brett era) I would say I would love to own a small Eurostyle B&B in the Virginia countryside where I can cook and serve wonderful wines.
